-Beavis and Butthead attend Highland High School. It is loosely based on Highland High School in Albuquerque, New Mexico, where Mike Judge grew up
-Beavis' laugh was inspired by a nerdy, straight A student Judge knew. He would sit in front of the class and laugh while biting his lip
-Burger World, a fast food chain where the two work, has a logo similar to McDonald's. It's simply the golden arch upside down
-On the show, Beavis and Butthead wear AC/DC and Metallica shirts. They are changed on memorabilia for the show; they read "Skull" and "Death Rocks". But in one episode, Beavis is seen wearing a Slayer t-shirt
