Day 27 - The most surprising plot twist or ending

Hmmm, this one is hard. I guess it would have to be Private Down Under and Private Games by James Patterson

Private Games
-Peter Knight is the new head of Private London after his former boss Dan Carter and his employees perished in a mysterious plane crash. He's got his work cut out for him. London has been chosen to host the 2012 Olympic Games and he's working with Private agents from around the world coming in to get their security passes. Meanwhile, a madman named Cronus and his three Furies are trying to put an end to the games
-The surprising ending was that when Cronus, who turned out to be a character named Marcus Morris, who was head of a security group working with Knight, is fighting with Knight atop the Olympic Flame tower, Knight sticks a workman's screwdriver into Cronus' eye and he staggers backward, falling into the flame, the fire consuming his body
Private Down Under
-Craig Gisto is overwhelmed with the preparations of opening Sydney's new investigative firm. When the party is in full swing, a young man staggers into the party with a black bag over his head and his body full of holes. When the bag is removed, it's discovered his eyes have been cut out. As the investigation unfolds, it's discovered he is the son of a former Hong Kong police officer living in Sydney with his other son, Dai. And that this young victim was held hostage by members of the Chinese Triad. To make matters worse, they get another case during this one. A 26 year old Australian rockstar named Mickey Spencer comes in, claiming his manager is trying to make him a member of the famed "Forever 27" club
-The surprising ending was that his girlfriend, a Russian woman named Katia, is the one trying to kill him. He was giving a birthday party for his big 2-7 and Katia waited until he was high on cocaine to try and kill him. There, she reveals that Mickey impregnated her sister, Anais, in Moscow after a show and she went to a back alley abortionist and it killed her. She was mad at Mickey for impregnating her sister and her dying as a result

Day 26 - A book that changed your opinion about something

18 and Life on Skid Row
-Sebastian Bach
-How this book changed my opinion on something is my opinion on Jon Bon Jovi and Ted Nugent. I don't mind Ted Nugent's music. It's good, but it's just him I can't stand as a person. There's one chapter in here that reinforces my dislike of Nugent. Sebastian and Ted were doing some kind of televised interview on something and suddenly Ted goes on to this rant about he's blacker than James Brown, etc. etc. And two of the film crew are guys who happen to be black. This angers Sebastian because he grew up in the Bahamas and was the only white boy in a class of black children and because of that, he has a deep appreciation for all walks of life. He got up and stormed off. Later on, he met up with those same two camera crew members who thanked him for standing up for them.

As for Bon Jovi, I learned just how arrogant he is. He was so worried about Sebastian Bach screwing up that he told him not to do this and that. One night, outside the concert he was getting ready to perform, local police used a stun gun on him because they thought he was drinking vodka in public when it was really water. He has a habit of drinking plenty of water before shows. Jon Bon Jovi urged him not to rant about it on stage. WRONG! He chose to rant about it. And unfortunately, Skid Row got kicked off the Bon Jovi tour. In fact, they've been kicked off and brought back so many times it will make your head spin. Not only that. Jon Bon Jovi was jealous that Skid Row merchandise was outselling Bon Jovi merchandise at the merchandise tables. Sebastian often talked to Richie Sambora in the band. He talked to all the band members except Jon Bon Jovi for obvious reasons, lol

Day 21 - Favorite book from your childhood

Simply put, I love this book, even now as an adult

Day 20 - Favorite romance book

Simply put, Fifty Shades of Grey. I normally never read romance stories. I never thought I would like this book; my sister kept saying "It's good. You'll like it. And it'll make you hot in places you never thought you would get hot". Of course, she was laughing as she said this. BTW, this series is definitely for adults only. Kids should not be allowed to read this. Although, I have to say this. There was a story on the news about a kid in school somewhere dressing as Christian Grey for Halloween. I couldn't help but laugh and think "Wow, that kid is smart. He chose a costume no one else chose".

Day 19 - Favorite book turned into a movie

She is a heavily bullied girl with secret telekinetic mind powers which she puts to devastating use at her high school's annual Spring Ball

It
-Stephen King

Fifty Shades of Grey
-E.L. James

-Arthur Golden

Satsu is not attractive and is sold into a house of prostitution in the Miyagawa-cho section of Gion in Kyoto while Chiyo, with her attractive blue eyes, is sent to an okiya (geisha boarding house) in the Tominaga-cho section of Gion to become a geisha
