-Only child of Alan George Radcliffe, a literary agent and Marcia Jeannine Gresham, a casting agent
-Went to 2 independent schools as a kid; Sussex House School, a day school in Cadogan Sqaure, in Chelsea, in London, then City of London school, a day school on the North Bank of the River Thames in London's financial district known as the City of London

Career
-In 2000, producer David Heyman asked Radcliffe to audition for the role of Harry Potter for the film adaptation of the book Harry Potter and the Philsopher's Stone by J.K. Rowling. The book title is what it is called in England.
-According to Rowling, she had been searching for a relatively unknown British actor to play the character.

Other Acting Work
-In 2007, he appeared in December Boys, which is about 4 orphans in Australia. At age 17, to show he was not a kid anymore, he starred in the stage play Equus. He took on the lead role of Alan Strang, a stable boy who has an obsession with horses. And this play also required Radcliffe to feel comfortable doing a full nude scene.
-He also lent his voice to an episode of The Simpsons in late 2010. He has also  starred in the stage play How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying.
-In 2012, he has plans for other non-Harry Potter related acting. He plans on starring in the movie The Woman in Black adapted from the 1983 novel by Susan Hill. This movie will be about a man sent to deal with the legal matters of a mysterious woman who has just died and soon after begins to experience strange events and hauntings from a woman dressed in black

Personal Life
-In 2010, he has stopped drinking as he found himself too reliant on it.
-He is a fan of underground  and punk rock
-He speaks out against homophobia, doing public service announcements for the Trevor Project, which helps promote awareness of gay teen suicide


Emma Watson

Early Life
-Born in Paris to Jacqueline Luesby and Chris Watson, both British lawyers.
-From age 6, she wanted to act. 
-At age 5, her parents divorced and she moved with her mother and younger brother to Oxfordshire.

Career
-In 1999, she was cast as brainiac know it all Hermione Grainger in Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone.

Other Acting Work
-First non-Potter work was in the 2007 BBC film Ballet Shoes.
-She also lent her voice to Princess Pea in The Tales of Desperaux

Modeling
-In 2008, British press reported that Watson was to replace Keira Knightley as the face of Chanel. But in June 2009, she said she would partner with British fashion line Burberry as the face of their line.

-In 1999, was cast as Ron Weasley in Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone
-Was only 11 at the time of the movie being made. When the roles were being cast, J.K. Rowling insisted that the cast be mainly British or British-born

Personal Life
-One of his non-Potter movies includes Driving Lessons, which was about an oppressed teen boy.
-In July 2008, it was said that he would star in the indie movie Cherrybomb. His character- Malacy, a worker at Belfast- goes to high lengths to impress his boss' daughter whom he has a crush on. 
-Like his character Ron, suffers from arachnaphobia, or fear of spiders
-Drives around in an ice cream truck
