Plot
-Annie is a 14 year old who lives with her family in Chicago. Lately she has been participating in an online chat room for teens with a 16 year old named Charlie. When they begin to get closer, Charlie  reveals that he's actually 20 years old. They arrange to meet each other face to face, but when Annie actually meets Charlie, she realizes that he is actually a 35 year old man and is shocked.

-But then, she is seduced by him and raped in a motel room by her new "boyfriend". Her best friend Brittany talks to the school counselor about Annie and her new relationship and she is sent for a medical examination. Then her parents Will and Lynn are visited by an FBI agent named Doug Tate, who is in charge of an investigation into this case. While the family is torn apart by this, Lynn supports her daughter while Will obsesses over finding the sexual predator
