What's Better Than Rock Bands Getting Back Together?

Rock bands reuniting and becoming awesome once more!

Black Sabbath
-Despite Ronnie James Dio filling in the void that Ozzy Osbourne left when he left, or more likely was kicked out, of Black Sabbath, most fans will agree that Ozzy was the man for the singing. In 1997, the band reunited. That's right: Tony Iommi, Geezer Butler, Ozzy Osbourne and Bill Ward reunited Black Sabbath. Their plans on touring in 2012 were temporarily put on hold because of Tony's battle with cancer and a fight with Ward

Kiss
-17 years passed between 1979 and their first concert in 1996. At a sold out concert in Detroit, Michigan, at the Detroit Tigers' Stadium, Paul Stanley and Gene Simmons welcomed back, with open arms, Ace Frehley and Peter Criss. Although, nowadays, Tommy Thayer and Eric Singer have long since taken the reigns of Space Ace and Catman

Van Halen
-In 1985, this band broke up, or more likely, Daivd Lee Roth's ego grew too big, him thinking he could be bigger and better outside of Van Halen. Over two decades later, the band is back together on Sept. 27, 2007. It wasn't full; Michael Anthony is not present. He is currently in Chickenfoot, the band headed by previous Halen singer Sammy Hagar. Michael Anthony has long since been replaced by Wolfgang Van Halen, son of guitarist Eddie Van Halen

The Who
-7 years after their Farewell Tour, it seemed to spell the end for a band destined for more concerts. The band reunited in 1989. There were constant changes in lineup. With the death of initial drummer Keith Moon in 1979, he was replaced by Simon Phillips. Then Zak Starkey, son of legendary Beatles drummer Ringo Starr took over for drums. And with Pete Townshend's tinnitus condition, this forced the band to perform alot of their songs, which are rock and rely on electric guitar, to be performed acoustically, and to fill in the sound, a full horn section was brought in, along with backing musicians

Judas Priest
-In 1992, Rob Halford, who was the long time front man for Judas Priest, left the band supposedly due to tension within the band. He was replaced by Tim 'Ripper' Owens in 1996. In 2003, however, Halford rejoined "The Metal Gods"
