Glenn Hughes

Glenn Hughes, we all know him as the singer for Black Sabbath during the mid to late 1980s, and as a talented bass guitarist and singer who played with Deep Purple. He also has a biography coming out for those interested

Trivia
-The band he got his start in was called Trapeze
-He was inspired to go into music through influences such as early British hard rock, The Beatles, American soul/R&B
-Joined Deep Purple in 1973
-He joined the band after singer Ian Gillan left and guitarist Roger Glover left. When he joined, he played bass guitar and future Whitesnake singer David Coverdale became singer
-Their 1974 album Burn reestablished them among the die hard fans of Deep Purple
-He currently lives in LA
-In 1977, he joined former Pat Travers Band guitarist Pat Thrall to form Hughes/Thrall
-One of the biggest events in Hughes life was when he began working with Black Sabbath guitarist Tony Iommi on what would become the band's 1986 Seventh Star album. It was credited as "Black Sabbath Featuring Tony Iommi"
-Both Tony Iommi and Glenn Hughes have remained friends to this day
-They worked together again in 2005 to release Fused
-In 2013, he formed a band called California Breed with drummer Jason Bonham, guitarist Andrew Watt

Also had to include this. It's a cover of The Moody Blues' "Nights in White Satin" that Glenn did. It's definitely different than the original, but it's really good. Glenn's voice is almost bluesy on this song, making it more heartfelt and almost romantic
