The Rolling Stones Steel Wheels

This is just one of the albums of The Stones my step dad owns. We recently listened to it while playing pool one night and I have to say, definitely a good album. My fave tracks are Almost Hear You Sigh, Terrifying, Hearts for Sale and Blinded by Love.

-Is the 19th British and 21st American studio album by The Rolling Stones
-Released in 1989, followed by the Steel Wheels/Urban Jungle tour in 1989-1990.
-This album is basically what stopped the fighting between Mick Jagger and Keith Richards.
-It's also their final studio album with bassist Bill Wyman. He would quit to pursue personal interests and Ronnie Wood would become a full fledged member in 1993, 20 years after he joined the band in 1975.

History
-In 1987, Jagger and Richards both released solo albums. Jagger released Primitive Cool while Richards released Talk is Cheap.
-In January 1989, the year they would be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, Jagger and Richards teamed up to start recording for their next album. The fight between them had slowly stopped and they recorded 50 songs in a matter of weeks.
-This album was recorded in Montserrat and London during the spring months. One of the tracks, "Continental Drift" had a Middle Eastern beat to it.
-Their 1990 Urban Jungle tour was considered to be a financial success.
