On this post, you'll see some rock stars who have gotten into nasty feuds with other musicians

-The original lead man for Van Halen called Hagar, also known as the Red Rocker, a second Darrin on the track 'Bewitched'

Neil Young vs. Lynyrd Skynyrd
-Canada vs. South
-Some songs from Neil Young's 1972 album Harvest made some pretty brutal attacks on the South's sketchy race relations, and made references to slave ownership and cross burnings

Lynyrd Skynyrd

Gene Simmons vs. Carlos Santana
-Heavy metal vs. Latin
-Carlos Santana made some anti-Kiss remarks. Santana, back in 2005 said "He's not a musician, he's an entertainer. Kiss is Las Vegas entertainment, so he wouldn't know what music is anyway. That's why he wears all that stuff."

Gene Simmons

Carlos Santana

Paul McCartney vs. Michael Jackson
-Beatle vs. pop
-Paul McCartney gave Michael some investing advice and Michael bought the company that had most of the rights for the Beatles songs. Sounds confusing, huh?

Paul McCartney

Michael Jackson

Vivian Campbell vs. Ronnie James Dio
-Def Leppard vs. British metal legend
-Dio, a few years before his death, said to Campbell "he's an f---ing a--hole... he's a piece of s---"

Vivian Campbell

Ronnie James Dio

Oasis vs. Blur
-British rock legends squaring off
-Blur is a group of middle class suburban London art school guys whereas Oasis consists of hard drinking, working class, blue collar Manchester men who picked fights. Things got worse because in 1996, Noel Gallagher, who was the front man for Oasis, was quoted as saying that he wished Blur's Damon Albarn and Alex James would "catch AIDS and die"

Oasis

Blur

Pavement vs. Smashing Pumpkins
-Pavement's front man Stephen Malkmus was quoted as saying "Out on tour with The Smashing Pumpkins/Nature's Kids, they have no function. I don't understand what they mean, and I could really give a f---". Smashing Pumpkins front man Billy Corgan took thgis offensively and said "I think it's rooted in jealousy. People don't fall in love to Pavement... they put on Smashing Pumpkins or Hole or Nirvana, because these bands actually mean something to them"

Pavement

Smashing Pumpkins

Mick Jagger vs. Keith Richards
-Stone against Stone
-These 2 have fought time and time again. It started in 1975 and got progressively worse during the 1980s and was made worse when Richards found out that Jagger was going on a solo tour and doing solo stuff. When Richards wanted to tour the Stones' Dirty Work album, Mick thought that it was not a good idea and this increased the distance between the two. Acting as a middle man between the two was Stones newbie Ronnie Wood. Jagger and Richards would not come together to do anything until 1989, when it came time to record The Stones' Steel Wheels album

Courtney Love vs. Ryan Adams
-She accused him of stealing $858,000 from her daughter Francis Bean's trust fund

Flaming Lips vs. Arcade Fire
-Wayne Coyne, the front man for The Flaming Lips said in 2009 "We've played some shows with them and they really treat people like s---" was his comment on a riff to Arcade Fire. He also said "They have good tunes, but they're pricks, so f--- 'em".

The Flaming Lips

Arcade Fire. Never trust these guys to do a good cover of a Rolling Stones song. They'll screw it up with accordions and everything!

Metallica vs. Dave Mustaine
-Metallica against it's former lead singer Dave Mustaine
-Mustaine was kicked out of Metallica in 1983 for alcohol and drug abuse. This led Mustaine to form Megadeth. This then led to a bad reunion with Metallica drummer Lars Ulrich

Dave Mustaine

Axl Rose vs. Nirvana
-At the 1992 MTV Video Music Awards, a fight began, starting with the drug addict girlfriend of Kurt Cobain, Courtney Love. According to Nirvana  bassist Krist Novocelic, Axl Rose was going past Love, Kurt Cobain and the couple's baby daughter when the front woman for Hole, aka Courtney Love shouted "Axl, Axl, you're the godfather!" This led to Axl telling Cobain to keep his woman in line

Nirvana

Trent Reznor vs. Marilyn Manson
-Nine Inch Nails lead singer against Marilyn Manson
-Reznor made Manson's album Antichrist Superstar and Manson jumped from one label to the other, going from Reznor's Nothing Records to Interscope.

-Kid Rock and Motley Crue drummer Tommy Lee duke it out at the 2007 MTV Video Music Awards
-Both musicians were at one time married to Pamela Lee Anderson, and things got ugly as Kid Rock slapped Tommy Lee after hearing Lee talk bad about P. Diddy. Kid Rock went to coldcock the Motley Crue drummer but security got to them
