Mick Jagger says he sees a connection between The Stones and England's Newest Hit Makers, One Direction.

"I watched a concert  of One Direction on the TV the other night, you know, just to check it out. It reminded me very much of our very early concerts, when we were ushered around among the audience and we would kind of float. They were like, floating above the audience, and they looked like, really, distinctly uncomfortable."

Ok, if that is Jagger's opinion about new music, that is a very sweet and kind way of looking at things. I have just gained a little respect back for his personality.
