-Vince Welnick, rock keyboard player for The Tubes, is born in Phoenix, Arizona

-The first Gibson model Flying V guitar is made in a factory in Kalamazoo, Michigan

-The Beatles played 3 gigs in one day. First one was a lunchtime crowd at the Cavern Club, then later at the Casanova Club
