-Served time in prison for the attempted rape of a 17 year old mentally ill boy. This led to one charge of attempted rape and five counts of indecent assault of a teenaged boy while he was taking drum lessons at Holland's house

-During his time in prison for rape, Black Sabbath guitarist Tony Iommi replaced Holland's drum parts on the 1996 DEP Sessions because he did not want a convicted sex offender on his album
