If You Like Kiss, Here's a Book About Their Early Years

Kiss
L-R: Gene Simmons, Paul Stanley, Tommy Thayer
Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley are together on this one, writing a book together about the early years of the band they formed. And if you're into certain members of Kiss, there are memoirs out there about Gene Simmons, Peter Criss and Ace Frehley.

The new book is titled Nothin' to Lose: The Making of Kiss (1972-1975). It's due out on Aug. 20. It also has interviews with people such as Ted Nugent, Alice Cooper, Bob Seger, and members of Aerosmith, Black Sabbath and Rush
It's an awful lot of writing history for Stanley, who is trying to do an autobiography of his own. He replied with a funny, yet cocky statement, “with the three other guys from the original lineup having written books, it’s kind of like, ‘OK, have you all said your piece? OK? Now let me tell you what happened.’”
