Something I never really noticed before was something a fellow blogger called The Token Brit, aka Dominic Williams told me on Facebook. It was that the guys on the show The Big Bang Theory act just like and I mean JUST LIKE the guys from The Beatles. He put that on his Facebook wall one day and I actually had to sit there and think about it. It's true. I have to give him credit where credit is due. I have to give him all the credit since he's the one who noticed it initially.
If you watch the show, you'll know who I mean. If you don't, I'll explain for ya :D
On the show, the 2 main "nerds" are Leonard Hofstadter and Sheldon Cooper. They are like the "leaders" of the group, just like Paul McCartney and John Lennon were the "leaders" and songwriters of The Beatles.
There are 2 other "nerds", Howard Wolowitz and Rajesh Koothrapali. "Raj" as he's called, is almost like George Harrison. Because later on in life, George had developed an interest in Indian culture after learning how to play the sitar. And considering how shy George often was, Raj is just like him, usually don't talk to girls that often and is, of course, Indian. Howard is like Ringo Starr, right down to the somewhat large, yet very attractive nose and bowl cut hairdo. Although, I'm pretty sure that Ringo never wore skin tight jeans before, although that would probably be funny to imagine. And I'm also sure that Ringo is not lady crazy like the character Howard is. He's been married I think only twice, first to a lovely lady named Maureen Cox and then to a lovely lady named Barbara Bach.
Howard Wolowitz
-Just like: Ringo Starr. Not lady crazy like Howard, but with the big nose and bowl cut hairdo and when they play Rock Band, Howard does the drums, funny, isn't it? Howard is my favorite one, especially when him and his mother are arguing from different parts of his house.
Rajesh Koothrapali
-Just like: George Harrison. Just like George in real life, shy, never talks that much, and is Indian, although George was not Indian, he was interested in the culture
Sheldon Cooper
-Just like: Paul McCartney. Somehow, the "leader" of the group, always made decisions
Leonard Hofstadter
-Just like: John Lennon. Sarcastic, sometimes opinionated, sometimes rebellious. And also like John, he wears glasses
I'm a girl born in the wrong decade. I belong in the 1960s or the 1970s in my opinion. I bleed tie dye, my theme music is anything 1960s rock or 1970s rock or metal. I'm a hippie through and through. But also a hippie who loves old metal music. I believe that violence never solves anything, so why resort to it to solve problems? With all the wars the world has seen, there should be a clue somewhere in there!

-Albert H. Wolff was the last survivor of the real life Untouchables. He was a consultant on the film
-Robert De Niro did serious Method acting for the role of Al Capone. He insisted on gaining the weight himself, and wearing the same kind of clothes the real man would wear
-Despite the final court room scene, the real Eliot Ness and real Al Capone never came face to face in court
-Even though the patron saints of police are Michael the Archangel and Saint Sebastian, Irish police officers carried St. Jude medals, who was the patron saint of hopeless causes
-The scene where Capone pulls out a baseball bat and beats one of his men to death actually happened. On May 7, 1929, Capone got wind of a rumor that 2 of his henchmen, Albert Anselmi and John Scalise, had planned to kill Capone. He got even by inviting all his employees to a dinner party, including the 2 men, and during dinner, he pulled out a baseball bat and beat them both to death

80s "Hair" Bands
Ever notice that most 80s bands all had the same, universal look? Messy, scraggly, hair. spandex costumes, maybe some makeup, torn clothing? They all looked the same for some weird reason. And most of these bands did metal music. So, here are some of my favorite "hair" bands of the 80s
