Ink Flamingos: A Tattoo Shop Mystery by Karen E. Olson (Tattoo Shop Mystery #4)

This is the fourth and final book in the series
Summary
-Brett Kavanaugh is once again investigating murder when she isn't inking someone. Dee Carmichael is the lead singer of sugary sweet pop group The Flamingoes. She is one of Brett's most loyal and frequent customers. When an image of Dee pops up on the internet, surrounded by ink pots and other tattoo paraphernalia, Brett is automatically suspect #1. To make matters worse, someone is impersonating Brett. The quick witted tattooist needs to act fast and find out who's impersonating her and who killed the famous singer.

Driven to Ink: A Tattoo Shop Mystery by Karen E. Olson (Tattoo Shop Mystery #3)

This is the third book in the series
Summary
-She's back!! Las Vegas' favorite tattoo shop owner/tattooist/investigator Brett Kavanaugh is once again investigating crime, much to the detriment of her older brother, who is a Las Vegas Police Officer. A man dressed like Dean Martin is found in the back of Kavanaugh's Ford Mustang, with a tattoo machine power cord and clip around his neck. To aid her in the investigation, she calls upon her good friend and rival Jeff Coleman, owner and proprietor of rival tattoo shop Murder Ink.

Pretty in Ink: A Tattoo Shop Mystery by Karen E. Olson (Tattoo Shop Mystery #2)

This is the second book in the series
Summary
-Once again, Brett Kavanaugh has done it. She's managed to get herself involved in yet another murder. Owner and proprietor of high class Las Vegas tattoo shop The Painted Lady, she and her employees are currently busy inking Las Vegas' newest line of drag queens. The queens are hosting an opening show called Nylons and Tattoos, which ends horribly with one of the queens ending up dead. When another queen shows up dead, suffering from a fatal poison, Brett investigates and finds someone is targeting these ladies...

The Missing Ink: A Tattoo Shop Mystery by Karen E. Olson (Tattoo Shop Mystery #1)

This is a recent series of books I found that I love. Not only because they are murder mystery stories (which I love!), but it also involves a tattoo shop. I don't know why, but the whole idea of a murder mystery series set around the culture of tattoos is fascinating
Summary
-Brett Kavanaugh is the pretty and tattooed owner of The Painted Lady, a high class tattoo shop masquerading as a high class art shop in Las Vegas. She works with an interesting assortment of employees. It's just another day at the shop. A woman comes in wanting a typical devotion tattoo of a heart with her fiancée's name in it. One problem, though-the name is not that of her fiancée. When the woman mysteriously disappears and turns up dead later, it's up to Kavanaugh to investigate, despite her cop older brother's repeated warnings to stay out of it. And to make matters worse, the main person of interest in the case is her rival, Jeff Coleman. He owns and runs a tattoo shop called Murder Ink, in a bad part of town, specializing in flash (stock designs you see in the flip-through boards in tattoo shops)

Day 28-Something/Someone You Envy

Since Envy is one of the seven deadly sins, I can't really say that there is anything or anyone I envy. As much as I would like to be as beautiful as Georgia May Jagger, I can't say I envy her. She's beautiful, doesn't care what people think of her and she also earned her fame by modelling and not using her dad's last name. She didn't ride on her father's coat tails to fame. I basically can't say that I envy anyone or anything.
