Day 27-Where You See Yourself 10 Years from Now

I'm not even sure how to answer this
https://never3nding.tumblr.com/post/2660644142/tumblr-30-day-challenge

Frankly, I am unsure how to answer this. I suppose the only thing I can say is that I hope to be at a job that I enjoy. I hope to see London at least. Japan is questionable only because I don't know much of the language and it would be expensive. Other than that, I'm not sure where I see myself in 10 years.

Halloween (2018)

This is the newest addition to the famed series
Summary
-Laurie Strode is ready to face down the homicidal killer Michael Myers, with whom she faced off on Halloween night four decades ago

Cast
-Jamie Lee Curtis: Laurie Strode

-Andi Matichak: Allyson
-James Jude Courtney: The Shape
-Nick Castle: The Shape
-Haluk Bilginer: Dr. Sartain
-Jefferson Hall: Aaron Korey

-Jake Gyllenhaal encouraged Jamie Lee Curtis to reprise her role as Laurie Strode because Gyllenhaal is an unofficial godson to Curtis and a family friend of hers
-This movie was released to coincide with the 40th anniversary of the original 1978 Halloween movie
-The gas station in the movie is an almost exact replica of the gas station from Halloween 4: The Return of Michael Myers, right down to the ice machine outside
-Michael Myers is supposed to be 61 in this film
-When kids are seen trick or treating on Halloween, there is a trio of kids wearing a witch, skeleton costume and Jack O' Lantern mask. This is a reference to Halloween 3: Season of the Witch, in which an Irish company called the Silver Shamrock company made masks with special disks in them, which came in a witch, skeleton or Jack O' Lantern design
-Nick Castle, at 70, was the oldest actor to play Michael Myers
-James Jude Courtney, who plays Michael, consulted with real life killers to make sure his performance was accurate
-When Allyson mentions that Halloween is on a school night, she was right. Halloween in 2018 was on a Wednesday, a school night
-The police vehicles in the film all have Warren County written on them. Warren County is located in Kentucky and it's where Western Kentucky University is located. This is the school John Carpenter attended
-The first film in the series where Michael kills a young child

Halloween II (2009)

This is a sequel to the Rob Zombie-directed first film

HINT: This movie is really bloody and gory. Unless you like that sort of thing, you may not like this. It's a good movie, but really gory and bloody
Summary

-Malcolm McDowell quotes his character Alex DeLarge from A Clockwork Orange during the press conference by saying "Let's get things nice and sparkling clear".
-In the outside shots showing the emergency room entrance to the hospital, in real life that part of the hospital was the entrance to the Spinal Cord Injury Clinic at the now-closed Sepulveda Veterans Administration Hospital in San Fernando Valley, California
-This is the second Halloween film to reference serial killer Jeffrey Dahmer. The first one was Halloween: The Curse of Michael Myers during the Barry Simms radio talk show
-Mark Boone Junior, who plays in this movie Floyd and Dayton Callie, who plays in this movie Coroner Hooks, both appeared in the motorcycle-based TV show Sons of Anarchy. Mark Boone Junior plays Bobby Elvis and Dayton Callie plays police chief Wayne Unser
Dayton Callie as Sheriff Wayne Unser on Sons of Anarchy
Mark Boone Jr as Floyd in Halloween 2
Mark Boone Jr. as "Bobby Elvis" on Sons of Anarchy

-LL Cool J had been a longtime fan of the Halloween movie series. His mother took him to see the original when he was only nine years old.
-This is considered to be the shortest Halloween movie, with a running time of 86 minutes
-When Norma says to Laurie "everyone is entitled to one good scare", this is the same line uttered by Sheriff Brackett (Charles Cyphers) in the first Halloween movie

-As the film got closer to being finished, Donald Pleasance passed away
-The room in the sanitarium that Kara is in and escapes from is 237, the room reputed to be haunted in The Shining
-Many of the scenes with Donald Pleasance were deleted out of the film because director Joe Chappelle found him to be "too boring"

The Sandlot (1993)

This movie is hilarious. I love watching it. Nothing beats the classic line "You're killing me, Smalls!"
Summary
-When Scotty Smalls moves to a new neighborhood with his mom and stepdad, the local baseball legend, Benny "The Jet" Rodriguez takes him under his wing and introduces him to his fellow baseball players. But one day, when they lose their baseball, Scotty offers to get his stepdad's ball, signed by Babe Ruth and they lose it over the fence, where it is eaten by a massive English Mastiff named Hercules

Did You Know?
-Real life brothers Pablo Vitar and Mike Vitar play the younger and older versions of Benny
-The director had Tom Guiry, who plays Smalls and Mike Vitar, who plays Benny, meet and rehearse together before the other kids showed up on film. That way, when the kids did show, they would believe that the two actors were good friends
-David Mickey Evans, the director, had one strong rule for Chauncey Leopardi during the public pool scene when he kissed lifeguard Wendy Peffercorn "keep your tongue in your mouth"
-A song by The Drifters is played every time Wendy Peffercorn is shown
-The chewing tobacco the kids try was made from licorice and beef jerky while the vomit was made from oatmeal, bakes beans, split pea soup and movie gel. It was shot by paint guns to make it look like it was being thrown out. Some people got nailed with it by mistake
-During a lot of the pool scenes, the weather was overcast and the water was 56 degrees. The kids shivering was for real while the rest of the days was extremely hot
-The dog Hercules was an English Mastiff
-Throughout the movie, the kids can be seen wearing either Converse Chuck Taylors or PF Flyers.
-PF Flyers gymshoes were brought back in to popularity for a while after the release of this movie
-Five members of the Sandlot team-Chauncey Leopardi, Patrick Renna, Marty York, Brandon Quinton Adams, Grant Gelt-all starred on the series Boy Meets World at different times. Art LeFleur, who plays Babe Ruth, also starred on Boy Meets World
-The hat Kenny is seen wearing is for the Kansas City Monarchs. The KC Monarchs was the first predominantly black baseball team that was active from 1920-1965
-Many of the child actors snuck into a nearby movie theatre to see the film Basic Instinct
-Marty York, who plays a character named Yeah Yeah and Grant Gelt, who plays Bertram, would later go on to lend their voices to the cartoon Hey Arnold!

Halloween 5: The Revenge of Michael Myers (1989)

This is the fifth installment of the legendary series
Summary
-Famed killer Michael Myers returns to Haddonfield to try and kill his now mute niece

Cast
-Donald Pleasance: Dr. Sam Loomis
-Danielle Harris: Jamie
-Ellie Cornell: Rachel
-Beau Starr: Sheriff Ben Meeker
-Tamara Glynn: Samantha Thomas
-Jonathan Chapin: Mikey
-Matthew Walker: Spitz
-Wendy Foxworth: Tina Williams
-Troy Evans: Deputy Charlie
-Don Shanks: Michael Myers/Man in Black

Did You Know?
-Despite the fact that the movie's cover shows Danielle Harris' character Jamie wearing a clown costume, in the movie she wears a princess costume
-The store that the Man in Black gets off the bus in front of is the same store that Jamie and Rachel bought their costumes from in Halloween 4: The Return of Michael Myers
-During one scene, Donald Pleasance accidentally hit Don Shanks, breaking his nose. After that, the nose of the mask had to be cut out and replaced with a paper thin nose cut off another H5 mask. The fix on the mask can be clearly seen throughout the film
-The Man in Black's costume of mostly black clothes, such as a black long rider coat and black cowboy boots is a respectful nod to country singer Johnny Cash. The famed country singer was known as The Man in Black because he always wore black long rider coats and black boots
-Danielle Harris and Don Shanks became good friends during filming.
-Out of all the actors to play Michael, Don Shanks is the only person of American Indian ancestry to play this role
-Because Don Shanks is only 6'1'', different camera angles were used to make him seem taller
-The film had been given nearly an X rating for the level of blood, violence and gore. It was trimmed down to a more safe R rating

Halloween 4: The Return of Michael Myers

This is the fourth movie in the original Halloween series
Summary
-October 30, 1988. For ten years Michael Myers has been in a medically induced coma after confronting his sister Laurie Strode 10 years earlier. After being transferred from the Richmond Mental Institute to Smith's Grove, he awakens from his coma after finding out he had a niece in Haddonfield.

Cast
-Donald Pleasance: Dr. Sam Loomis
-Ellie Cornell: Rachel Carruthers
-Daniel Harris: Jamie Lloyd
-George P. Wilbur: Michael Myers
-Michael Pataki: Dr. Hoffman
-Beau Starr: Sheriff Ben Meeker
-Kathleen Kinmont: Kelly Meeker
-Sasha Jenson: Brady
-Gene Ross: Earl
-Carmen Filpi: Reverend Jackson P. Sayer

Did You Know?
-Danielle Harris sold the clown costume from this movie to a fan
-Many of the scenes in the creepy opening sequence were done thanks to extensive research on the history of Halloween by director Dwight H. Little
-Since Danielle Harris was so little, between filming takes, George P. Wilbur, who plays Michael Myers in this movie, would lift up his mask to remind her that it was just a movie, that he was not going to hurt her
-To create the impression of fall, leaves had to be imported and squash had to be painted like pumpkins
-The Vincent Drugstore was the same one used in Stephen King's The Stand. It was also seen five years later in The Sandlot, as the store that "Smalls" goes to the sandlot for the first time.
-Mike Lookinland, who played Bobby Brady on The Brady Bunch, was a production assistant while his wife Kelly Lookinland played the dead waitress
-George P. Wilbur, who plays Michael Myers in this movie, wore hockey pads under his costume to give himself a more imposing figure. Don Shanks, who plays Michael in Halloween 5: The Revenge of Michael Myers, did not need padding as he was already big enough
-This is actress Danielle Harris' first movie
-George P. Wilbur is the third tallest actor to play Michael Myers. He is 6'2 1/2''
