This book series caught my eye when I was browsing the Humor section on the Amazon Kindle store. The title caught my eye. When I read the description, it sounded funny and interesting. After reading it, I realized I have never laughed this hard in a while.

What the book is essentially about is sarcasm regarding every aspect of life. How being socially awkward is a common thing, how to combat being odd in more ways than one and trying to make it day to day with your sanity and dignity intact. Some of the things he mentions are very relatable

The managing of stress is a lot harder since I have very little time to do this except for the weekends

I even bought his Very British Christmas book and nearly laughed myself into an asthma attack. I was laughing so hard I was crying. Some of the things he lists in that series are very relatable, in fact, I've done quite a few before

3000 Questions About Me

This is a book me and my sister found at a local store. It's a sort of "getting to know you" type book. I won't list all 3000 questions. But here are some of the questions listed

1. Choose and defend your position: The Beatles or The Rolling Stones?

-Both. I like both bands. The Rolling Stones are good because their music is edgy and sometimes risque with the lyrics. The Beatles are good because their music has an upbeat melody sure to raise your spirits

2. What is your greatest fear?

-Spiders! I am terrified of them. What scares me even more is knowing that two of the more dangerous species of spider, black widows and brown recluse, are native to the area where I live. In fact, I've seen black widow spiders hanging down from my grandmother's house and had to go around. Whereas my stepdad saw the red hourglass and he hit it with a baseball bat, killing it

3. What type of person angers you the most?

-Narcissists. I hate this type of person. They think the world should revolve around them. That everyone should drop whatever they are doing and cater to this person's every need and desire. My relative Lexie is a narcissist. She believes that everyone needs to cater to her. She's 16 and practically pestered her own aunt Margo to work in a bar / restaurant called Ford's Garage, a place where she can't even hold a bottle of liquor, being under 21; she has to have an older coworker handle alcoholic drink orders

4. Do you have a favorite t-shirt? Is there anything written on it?

-A black V-neck t-shirt that is slim fit and has two crossed Gibson Flying V's and two bony hands forming the Metal Horns gesture and saying, in Iron Maiden-style writing "Yes I'm a Girl Yes I Speak Fluent Metal"

5. Have you ever had a health scare?

-I recently went to the eye doctor and she informed me that my eye pressure was slightly elevated. She asked me if I drink coffee, I told her yes. That's when I realized I was drinking too much coffee or tea and cut it down immediately. At my next appointment, it was still elevated, leading me to my next suspect cause-stress. I've been trying to reduce my stress, but it's hard working with the people I work with. At my job, I feel as though I am the only one who does actual work, since my coworkers feel socializing and taking long personal calls are far more important. Working where I work, an ophthalmology clinic, hearing elevated eye pressure, my mind goes immediately to glaucoma, of which one of the symptoms is elevated eye pressure. This is a progressive condition that, once you have it, you can't go back or reverse it; you can only keep it from progressing

6. What was the name of the first album you ever bought and who was the artist(s)?

-Black Sabbath Paranoid

7. Would you date anyone in a wheelchair or with a handicap?

-Yes. I would not care about the handicap. I would make adjustments. So what if someone has a handicap? Simply make adjustments. If you have something in common with that person, handicaps shouldn't stand in the way

8. Do you have a nerdy side? If so, what brings it out?

-Music, Harry Potter

9. What is your opinion on rats as pets?

-I love them! I love rats as pets. They're smart, adorable and so loving. They only ask for unconditional love from their owners. Plus, I love the little squeaking noises they make. It's too cute!!

10. What is one thing you've learned about people over the years?

-People cannot always be trusted. People will lie, cheat and steal just to serve their own selfish needs

11. Who would you want as your partner on Dancing with the Stars?

-Dave Murray, Steve Harris, Bruce Dickinson, Rob Halford. I feel they would probably be good dancers

12. Where would be the scariest place to get lost?

-Hoia-Baciu Forest in Transylvania, Romania. First and foremost, it's in Transylvania, which is the home country of the legendary Dracula. Second, this forest is known as the Bermuda Triangle of Romania. People have gone missing and not returned, there are ghosts there, it's just an overall eerie place

-Goodnight from London, Four Four Two, Memoirs of a Geisha, too many to list

-Louder Than H---: The Definitive Oral History of Heavy Metal by Jon Wiederhorn and Katherine Turman. This book is around 800 pages if not more

-$5,000. This was a down payment on a car. My current car in fact. The price was $12,500. I put down $5,000 to reduce the amount I needed to pay

-Tattoos. I have 9 so far and am planning number 10

And when I am driving to / from work, my playlist, which can go from one extreme to the next

31. Do you like Saturday Night Live, and if so, who would you love to see as a new host?

-Yes. I enjoy watching the older episodes of SNL. If there is a newer episode with a musical guest I like, I will watch it. As for hosts, it would be interesting to see Bruce Dickinson, Rob Halford or even Def Leppard host it

32. If you were having lunch with the Queen of England, what would you talk to her about?

-I would love to talk to her about all the wonderful things she's done. Her unique and heartwarming Christmas speeches that are so inspirational and heartwarming. How she visited those who were in hospital after the shooting in Manchester at the Ariana Grande concert

33. If you were musically inclined, whom would you want to have a private jam session with?

More People I'd Want to Read About

Have you ever wanted to read about certain people? Certain musicians, actors, actresses or other people because you find them fascinating? I know a lot of people in the entertainment industry are probably private people. They spend their whole day in the limelight, and the last thing that they would want is to have people invading their privacy, which is completely understandable. I respect that. But there are some people who just look like they would be an interesting person to read about

People fascinate me. It interests me to learn about what inspired a person to take up a certain career or hobby, how they met their significant other, what hobbies they have in their spare time. Which is probably why I have so many biographies / autobiographies on my bookshelf

Michael Imperioli

-For those who may know who this is, he was an actor on the television program The Sopranos. He played a character named Christopher Moltisanti, a nephew of main character Tony Soprano (James Gandolfini). He was also on the original Law & Order, playing a Brooklyn detective named Nick Falco, who is brought in to temporarily replace Det. Ed Green (Jesse Martin), who was shot in the line of duty. This actor looks like an interesting person to read about. It'd be interesting to learn what inspired him to pursue a career in acting, how he met his wife, what he felt about some of the roles he's done over the years

-He's the bass player for Def Leppard. It would be interesting to read about what inspired him to pursue music as a career. What inspired him to pursue the bass guitar specifically, how he met his wife, what his years with Def Leppard are like from his point of view

Steve Harris

-He's the bass player, founding member and primary songwriter for Iron Maiden. Considering some of the songs he's written over the years, to say he is ignorant would be a vast understatement. He's a highly intelligent man. You have to be highly intelligent to write some of the songs he's written. It would be interesting to learn what inspired him to pursue music, what he likes to do in his spare time, his time and experiences with the various ups and downs of Iron Maiden from his point of view, how he became interested in playing football (soccer)

Sean Connery

-Known best for his role as 007, James Bond, Sean Connery would be interesting to read about. Learning about his life growing up in Scotland, the various jobs he held over the years, how he got into acting, what he felt about some of the roles he's been in over the years. He would be very interesting to read about

Timothy Dalton

-He's a rather private man, very protective of his private life it's been said. It would be interesting to read what inspired him to take up, of all careers, a career as an actor, a career that involves being in the public eye

Glenn Tipton

-He's known for being one of the guitarists in Judas Priest. It's been said that he and fellow guitarist K.K. Downing had a very rough relationship. K.K. felt that Glenn was a showoff, that he would drink heavily before concerts and mess up lines. While Glenn claims he never did any of that. He might have had a few drinks before a show, but that never messed up his playing. It would be interesting to read about what inspired Glenn to take up the guitar, how he met his wife, his ongoing battle with Parkinson's Disease, his years with Judas Priest from his point of view

Kate Winslet

-She's one of my favorite actresses. It would be interesting to read about her life growing up, what inspired her to pursue acting, what she thought about some of the films she's been in over the years, how she met her husband, etc.

Roger Glover

-The bassist for Deep Purple and, at one time, for Rainbow, I'm sure he has quite a story or two to tell working with "The Man in Black" himself, Ritchie Blackmore. I think Roger would be an interesting man to read about. Read about what inspired him to take up, of all things, a bass guitar. His point of view on his years with Deep Purple and Rainbow, how he met his wife. Overall, he just looks like a really interesting person. He seems like a generally kind, down to earth man

-It turns out he is actually working on a memoir. That would be interesting to read

Dave Murray

-One of the lead guitarists of British metal band Iron Maiden, he would be an interesting man to read about. To read about what his life was like growing up, his years in Iron Maiden from his point of view, the ups and downs with the band, how he met his wife, some of the songs he's written for Iron Maiden. He just seems like such a down to earth man, so humble and yet so shy all at the same time

The Kitchen Front by Jennifer Ryan

This book is a historical fiction novel set in WWII-era England. There are also real life recipes added in here, real WWII-era recipes from England. Some sound quite good, especially the dessert ones

White Line Fever by Lemmy Kilmister and Janiss Garza

This autobiography allows Ian Fraser Kilmister, better known to the world as "Lemmy", to tell the story of how he came to be the front man for one of the loudest bands in the world, Motorhead. This book is hilarious in some parts, sweet in some parts and he does not mince words-he tells it as it is, no matter who it might offend

-He was born Ian Fraser Kilmister on December 24, 1945 in the city of Burslem, in Stoke-on-Trent, England. He grew up an only child in the city of Colwyn Bay in Wales. As he got older, he often ran into trouble at school, as a result of not wanting to follow orders from the teachers. He states the reason he got into music was to meet girls. Sure enough, when he got old enough, he bought himself a guitar and suddenly girls started noticing him

-Some of the first bands he played in included the Rocking Vicars, Opal Butterfly and Hawkwind. He worked as a roadie for Jimi Hendrix and he firmly states Jimi was one of the nicest guys he's ever met. He talks about seeing The Beatles live and how he was just blown away. He said The Rolling Stones were okay, but for him The Beatles were better

-He had a short stint with Hawkwind, and that he was fired from the band for possessing cocaine. He states it was not cocaine, but amphetamine. He was crossing the border into Canada with the band and border patrol caught him. After testing the narcotics found on him, it came up positive for cocaine. He states the members of Hawkwind had been looking to fire him anyway. This now gave him an opportunity to form a new band, which he named Motorhead after the last song he wrote with Hawkwind, which was "Motorhead". He discovered that this was an American slang term for a meth user

-Some of the earliest members of Motorhead included Larry Wallis, Lucas Fox. He finally settled on Phil Taylor for drums and Eddie Clarke for guitar. They made quite a few albums, including Ace of Spades, Bomber, Iron Fist, Another Perfect Day. When Eddie left the band, according to Lemmy, Eddie left and came back multiple times, Brian Robertson of Thin Lizzy joined the band. Lemmy states Brian would dress oddly on stage, dressing in a way that heavily clashed with the look Motorhead was known for. Phil left for a short time in the mid 1980s, which meant a new drummer came in, one named Pete Gill. When Brian Robertson left, in came another guitarist named Michael Burston, who went by the nickname Wurzel. Lemmy often nicknamed Phil Taylor Clumso because he was so uncoordinated. Because of this, Phil ended up in a hospital almost everywhere they went. Lemmy jokes that they should have written a book about all of the hospitals Phil ended up in

-Lemmy is strongly supportive of women in music. He had wanted to make a song with Tina Turner, but never got the chance. Over time, he became good friends with all female hard rock band Girlschool. He states he would go to bat for them. It turned out that Girlschool and Motorhead were on the same label, Bronze Records, so that is how Girlschool ended up opening for and even touring with Motorhead

-He jokingly said one time he was ill and was told that his blood was so toxic that actual human blood would kill him. He was told that because of all the substances in his blood that fresh, pure human blood would actually do more harm than good

-As the 1980s progressed to the 1990s and 2000s, Lemmy would state that he and the band seemed to have issue after issue with management and labels until they found one that finally worked for them. As usual, they would record their albums and the fans would be happy, but the labels they were on were not pushing the album as the band had hoped. The band would also change lineups, bringing in new guitarist Phil Campbell and new drummer Mikkey Dee. Lemmy would see Phil Campbell leave and come back multiple times and Mikkey would be hard to understand when he talked sometimes due to his heavy Swedish accent

-Towards the mid to late 2000s, Lemmy's health started declining. People started noticing how painfully thin he was getting.
