Replay by Amy Daws

This is a recent book written by American author Amy Daws, known for her London Lovers series and her other successful series The Harris Brothers. This book focuses on the Bethnal Green FC team lawyer and all around janitor of all things media blitzed and legal, Santino Rossi

Santino Rossi is a British-Italian lawyer for Bethnal Green FC. Managed by former legendary Manchester United player Vaughn Harris, this whole team is his life. Santino Rossi is known by the Bethnal Green team as the "two month chump", because of his inability to maintain a relationship for longer than two months. There is one woman he wants, but they parted on bad terms. They both have demons from their past the other doesn't know about.

Tilly Logan is the younger sister of Bethnal Green player Maclay "Mac" Logan, a hot-tempered, red-headed Scottish spitfire who requested a short term transfer to the Glasgow Rangers when his father was sick as a dying request. Now that he's back in London on Bethnal Green and expecting his first child with his wife Freya, Tilly offered to move in to help with the baby. She didn't think she would run into Santino as often as she does.

Once they start to get to know one another, everything comes out, including the dark secrets they kept from each other. Santino tells her that he is the product of a rape his mother experienced in Italy before moving to the UK. Her family moved to the UK to try and get her a fresh start. His mother told him and pushed him to be successful so he could be better than the man who helped conceive him. Tilly tells him that when she first moved to London because of her brother, she and her work friends had gone out drinking and one friend had given her a pill that knocked her out. When she came to, she was in a strange place with a strange man on top of her, raping her. She then became pregnant with this stranger's baby. She also battled with alcoholism as well. As they begin getting to know each other again, they start falling back in love and before long, they're engaged. Of course, Santino tells his story to Mac and he now understands his sister's boyfriend and also respects him more

Elsewhere, Vaughn Harris hands Santino a contract for a new player Bethnal Green is trying to obtain, an American player named Zander Williams. This player had asked to negotiate housing into his contract. While working late one night working on the contract, Santino receives a call from Jane Williams, Zander's mother. She gives him the truth about Zander-he is, in fact, Vaughn Harris' own son. She had a drunken fling with him after his first wife, Vilma died. She became pregnant and moved to the US, not telling Vaughn about the baby. She tells Santino that they had both gotten drunk one night and it, more or less, just happened. They had a fling. Ever since he received the news, Santino debates on whether or not to tell Vaughn that the player he is so bent on trying to obtain is his own son. Not believing one word, he goes to the apartment (flat in British English) that Zander is living at to have him sign the contract and become an official green and white-wearing Bethnal Green player. The mention of who this player's father is still runs in his head as he waits for the door to open. When it does, he sees the young man and reality hits Santino like a ton of bricks-this young man looks extremely and dangerously close to former Manchester United player Gareth Harris and also...Vaughn Harris.

Payback by Amy Daws (Harris Brothers Book 6)

This is another book in the famous Harris Brothers series by Amy Daws. Instead of the Harris Brothers, it focuses on their young cousin Alice "Allie" Harris, who lives in Chicago
Summary
-Alice "Allie" Harris deserves better. After finding her stepsister in bed with her boyfriend, Allie wants payback. Big time. She manages to have a one-night stand with a hot South African footballer named Roan DeWalt, who plays on Bethnal Green FC, the same team as her English-born cousins Camden and Tanner. When she records the video, as a way of getting payback at her boyfriend, her stepsister somehow gets ahold of the video and sends it viral. Because of this, her angry cousins Camden, Tanner, Booker and Gareth are ready to rip Roan limb from limb until they see how much he truly cares for their little cousin Allie.

Am I the only one who does this?

What I mean by this is when you read a book, and the character(s) get described physically, do you ever try and picture what they would look like in real life? It seems like whenever I read a book, I find myself trying to picture what the people would look like in real life. And sometimes the guys sound so good looking!!

Book 1-Camden Harris/Dr. Indie Porter

Book 2-Tanner Harris/Dr. Belle Ryan

Book 3-Booker Harris/Poppy McAdams

Book 4, Part I-Gareth Harris/Sloan Montgomery

Book 5, Part II-Gareth Harris/Sloan Montgomery
Right now, I'm re-reading The Harris Brothers series by Amy Daws. I just finished the first book, Challenge, which centered around one of the younger twin Harris brothers, Camden and his girlfriend, Dr. Indie Porter, a now sports medicine doctor. After finishing Endurance, which is book #2, centering on one of the twin Harris brothers, Tanner Harris and his foetal surgeon fiancée Belle Ryan and Keeper, book #3, centering on baby brother Booker Harris and his childhood friend Popy McAdams, I'm on book #4, Surrender, which centers around oldest brother Gareth Harris and his "friend" Sloan Montgomery. Here's who I think the characters would resemble. Some of the frequent characters that pop up in the series are:

-Dr. Indie Porter: former surgeon at Royal London Hospital. Fell in love with Camden Harris after getting assigned to his knee repair surgery. Fell in love in book 1, Challenge. She's described as having flaming red hair worn in a messy bun. She is nicknamed "Specs" by her boyfriend Camden or "Cam" as she calls him because of her affinity for odd-looking eyewear. She's also what some would call a spitfire, a fiery temper, but fiercely protective of those she loves and cares about

Bonnie Wright. Known for playing Ginny Weasley in the Harry Potter series. If Dr. Indie Porter were a real person, I think she would bear some slight resemblance to this lady.
-Dr. Belle Ryan: former surgeon at Royal London Hospital. She is Indie's best friend. Not afraid to tell it how it is, even if it is blunt. She took on an internship to work with a high-risk neonatal surgeon named Elizabeth Miller, from the US. She falls for the second oldest Harris brother, Tanner, in book 2, Endurance, after seeing that he is not London's most slutty footballer as she originally thought. She sees that he does have a considerate side after helping a homeless man named Sedgwick secure employment at Tower Park, the stadium where Camden, Tanner and Booker, the younger Harris brother, play for Bethnal Green FC and securing him one week's stay in a posh London hotel. She is described as being a curvy brunette with a sharp tongue and no holds barred attitude on telling it how it is. She initially hated him and hated him even more when she had to pick up his naked body in the East End after getting kicked out of the flat of a girl he was seeing because he said that her sister gave better head than she did.
Lauren Harris. Hard rock singer. Oldest daughter of Iron Maiden bassist/founding member Steve Harris. If Dr. Belle Ryan were a real person, I like to think she would bear some very slight resemblance to Lauren Harris, except a little curvier and a little heavier
-Sloan Montgomery: she is an American clothing stylist. She helps people pick out clothes perfect for footballers. She makes her first appearance in book 4, Surrender. She is going through a messy divorce and coming through the mud with her is her daughter, Sophia. She almost swears off men until she starts falling for Gareth Harris, the oldest of the Harris brothers. She sees him only as one of the famed "Harris Brothers" of football and her main client. But she starts to fall for him because she sees him as someone who needs to unwind, someone who needs to release tension after being in control of everyone else for most of his life. Someone who needs to be loved after and cared for instead of the opposite way around. She also starts to fall for him physically because she describes his features as being "rogue", like a Roman gladiator, and she also laughs at his constant habit of wearing pants with no underwear underneath, which shocks her when she has to fit him for pants. She is described as being a thin, 30-something brunette with light brown, honey-colored eyes.
Keira Knightley. She is an actress best known for playing Elizabeth Swan in Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl, Dead Man's Chest and At World's End. If Sloan Montgomery were a real person, I feel she would probably have a slight resemblance to her, both personality-wise and looks-wise and the fact that Sloan is American, not English
-Poppy McAdams: she is the childhood friend of the baby of the Harris family, Booker. They were in love at one point until Poppy went and studied abroad in Germany. When they were teens, they were in the habit of sneaking into each others' rooms just to sleep, just to have the comfort of knowing the other was there. She is also known for her wild, random imagination. One night, Poppy caught Booker getting handsy with a classmate named Sidney Carmichael, who turned out be a heavily promiscuous classmate. She has what some would call features typical for England-blonde hair and blue eyes, pretty nondescript. I wouldn't call it that, but some would [eyes rolling]. But she is described as having shortish blonde hair and blue eyes.
Mia Wasikowska. She is known for playing Alice in the new Alice in Wonderland series. I like to think that if Poppy McAdams were a real person, she would look slightly like this woman, except having blue eyes instead of brown.
The Harris Family
Vaughn Harris: He is the father of this massive brood of kids. He played as a star striker for Man U in the 1980s and when his wife Vilma, who was full blooded Swedish in England attending university, got sick with cancer, he tried every which way to help her. She succumbed to cancer and threw himself back into football to regain his sanity and keep himself occupied. That is now his main focus, with his four sons playing football. He is described as having an athletic build from playing football, short grey hair and brown eyes and very tall and imposing
Rod Smallwood. Manager of the band Iron Maiden. If Vaughn Harris were a real person, I think he'd resemble this gentleman slightly.
Camden Harris: Tanner Harris' twin, he's usually just as sex-nuts as his brother Tanner. But he does have a charming side, where he knows how a lady is to be treated. He is the third oldest Harris brother. He and Tanner are often the practical jokers in the family. He's described as having a little ink on his arm, shortish blonde hair, blue eyes from his mother's side of the family. He's also described as being well over the 6' height, more mid 6' height. He and his brother Tanner are always cracking jokes.
Charlie Hunnam. Best known for playing Jackson "Jax" Teller on Sons of Anarchy. If Camden Harris were a real person, I think he would slightly resemble this man
Tanner Harris: The perpetual troublemaker, the usual black sheep of the family, this one is always in trouble, usually for dipping his wick where it's not supposed to be. He's the one usually bringing about bad publicity towards the Harris family. He's always sleeping with one woman, sneaking out of the house/apartment of another, always seen with a different woman decorating his arm, leading these women to be called "Harris Ho's" by the London media. He is the second oldest Harris brother and also Camden Harris' twin brother. He's described as having blond hair that's long and is usually worn in a messy man bun, blue eyes and a closely trimmed goatee and beard with a ton of tattoos on both arms. The blonde features coming from his mother's side of the family and being at least 6'4'' or taller
Richie Faulkner. If Tanner Harris were a real person, I think he'd slightly resemble this guy
Booker Harris: The baby of the family, he is usually the more level-headed one, not applying the Bacon Sandwich rule to women and food. He is the one that Vi usually dotes after because when he lost his mother, she essentially helped raise him and her other siblings in addition to Gareth's help. He's described as having generally dark features from his father's side of the family, having shortish brown hair and brown eyes. He's usually clean cut with his short hair and face free of hair and very tall. He is described as being possessive, though. He doesn't like the thought of his friend Poppy looking at other men when his heart still rings for her.
Jamie Dornan. Known for playing mysterious billionaire industrialist Christian Grey in the erotic Fifty Shades of Grey series. If Booker Harris were real, I bet he would slightly resemble this man.
Gareth Harris: The oldest brother of the Harris brothers, he started out playing for Bethnal Green FC before signing a contract that would take him to Manchester United. He had taken a contract with Man U just to show up his father, to outdo him, when he was 21. He lives there, with his American girlfriend, Sloan Montgomery, a clothing stylist with a daughter named Sophia. He's described as having his father's features with shortish brown hair and hazel eyes. He's also said to have a little hair on his chest and slightly imperfect teeth, giving him a slightly rugged edge to him, according to his girlfriend, who describes his rugged looks as being that of a gladiator. He's also described as being between 6'-6'2''. Gareth often describes his brothers Tanner, Booker and Camden as apes. He often thinks of them as being a case study in how apes can function in modern society. He's reclusive, keeping to himself in Manchester, only coming to London for Sunday Harris dinners, which is a tradition initiated by his sister Vi.
Bruce Dickinson. Vocalist for Iron Maiden. If Gareth Harris were a real person, I think he would slightly resemble this man. And if Gareth Harris was a real person, Man U would be my new favorite team, lol ;) ;)!
Vilma "Vi" Harris: The most senior the Harris siblings, she essentially rules the roost with an iron fist. She is the destroyer of fights between the siblings, the shoulder to cry on, the ear to listen. But in the first book, Challenge, she finds out that her and her fiancée Hayden are expecting their first child, a girl. She is the one who usually ends fights, which usually involve Camden and Tanner start with a rule that Vi initiated for those two as kids called the Bacon Sandwich rule. This means that if someone licked the food, no one else can have it. They've also applied that rule to women, which gets them labeled as pigs most of the time. Tall, curvy and blonde, she takes after her mother's side, with her blonde hair and icy blue eyes.
Kate Winslet. If Vi Harris was a real person, I think she'd slightly resemble Kate Winslet, both looks-wise and personality-wise.
The characters listed above appear at one point in one or all of the below-mentioned books. The only reason I have pictures up there and not down here is it's been said too much of something can be a bad thing. I only listed who's in the books below so that you can read them and try to figure out for yourself who you think that they would look like in real life. They might appear different to you in your mind, who knows. Everyone who reads these books might have a different idea of who they would resemble in real life.

Dominate (Harris Brothers series Book 5)

This is the final installment of the Harris Brothers series
Summary
-After the events of the story Surrender, who's to say whether Gareth and Sloan will ever truly heal? Only time will tell whether the two will see the light of the future or the darkness of the past.

Surrender (Harris Brothers series Book 4)

This is the next installment of the Harris Brothers series by Amy Daws. This one concerns the oldest Harris brother, Gareth.

Also, as a side note, Amy Daws is an American author. She says in the Acknowledgements section of each book that as an American writer, it was near impossible to write English characters, but some of the people helping her out with these books are English and they give her a good education in what some of these characters would say, do or how they would react in different situations.
Summary
-Growing up in a Bethnal Green FC family is not easy. It's a lot worse having three younger brothers named Camden, Tanner and Booker also playing for Bethnal Green FC. When Gareth gets the opportunity to play for Manchester United FC, he can't pack his bags fast enough.

-Enter Sloan Montgomery. She's American, a clothing stylist who moved to Manchester with a man who seems to be her short term love, not her forever. Worse, she's pregnant by this man. She now has to share custody of their daughter, despite the divorce. But on a chance encounter, Gareth meets this lively American and seem to hit it off immediately!

Keeper by Amy Daws (Harris Brothers series Book 3)

This is the third book in the Harris Brothers series
Summary
-As the youngest member of the Harris Brothers, Booker Harris is a Bethnal Green FC player as well. He's tired of living in the shadow of his older brothers Camden and Tanner. He's managed to carve out a path in life for himself-as a player on the Bethnal Green FC team instead of being just Camden and Tanner's baby brother.

-His childhood friend, Poppy McAdams, has left London to study abroad in Germany. When she returns, she is staying with Booker Harris until she finds some space of her own. Little do they both know that chemistry will soon take over and these two will be falling head over heels for one another.

Endurance by Amy Daws (Harris Brothers series Book 2)

This is the second book in the Harris Brothers series
Summary
-First and foremost, the second oldest Harris Brother, Tannis Harris, is a total manwhore. He will screw anything on two legs. He's tall, dark and handsome, with tons upon tons of tattoos. He's a footballer, playing for Bethnal Green FC, where his younger brother Camden plays as well. His most recent incident, getting caught stark naked with his hand in front of his privates, means he's just called his last shot

-Dr. Belle Ryan is your typical no-nonsense doctor who works as a surgical fellow at the same hospital where Dr. Indie Porter works. Belle's job is stressful; she works as a foetal surgeon, who is able to operate on babies inside the mother's womb to repair any damage to their tiny bodies so they can be born healthy and beautiful. Besides being a high-risk job, it's also high-stress. When Tanner tries to call Indie to come pick him up in the East End, instead it's Belle who comes, to his rescue. It's then considered an idea that both Dr. Belle Ryan and Tanner Harris should fake being a couple. It would have fringe benefits for both of them-getting the paparazzi off Tanner's back for being a total manwhore and Belle's parents off her back for getting married finally. As time goes on, the two fall in love for real.

Challenge by Amy Daws (Harris Brothers series Book 1)

As judging by the title, this book is only the first in a series called The Harris Brothers. Not shockingly, it's a romance series involving English footballers and London
Summary
-Camden Harris is one of the famous "Harris Brothers" of London football. He and his brother Tanner are both on the same team, Bethnal Green FC. Both are tall, handsome and inked. After Camden wrecks his knee, he's taken to a hospital where he first meets a doctor named Indie Porter, who is often known as "Specs" because of her choice of wild eyewear. Despite his stay in the hospital, he tries to woo her with his charm

-Indie Porter, on the other hand, is a highly intelligent doctor working at an East End London hospital. One thing she does not want to be labeled with is "30 year old virgin". She wants to meet someone to help her give life an interesting boost and she thinks that she may have just met her life booster-Camden Harris. Of course, over time, the footballer and the doctor will fall for each other hard.

Robert Plant: A Life by Paul Rees

This is the title of a book about Led Zeppelin front man Robert Plant. Not to mention, back then he was so incredibly cute!! I guess I'm a sucker for blonde hair, blue eyes or a cute English accent. All three on a guy? What a hunk, lol!!! Even today, I still think he's handsome for his age. Yeah sure, he's a little rough on the eyes, what with wrinkles and facial hair, but he's still handsome and able to hit those high notes. AWESOME and still handsome!!!
I'm reading it so far and it's good so far. I've only been reading it since yesterday and it's awesome. Not surprisingly, like all biographies, this one talks about his upbringing, being raised by an engineer named Robert, who the subject of this book is named after, and his mother Celia. What some may not know is that Robert Plant has a younger sibling, a sister named Alison. The book talks about his father taking him to see the Wolverhampton Wanderers, the local football team

Hard to believe this kid...

...grew into this singer. Who cares if he's rough looking? Rock and roll for you!
He has been in quite a few bands prior to joining Zeppelin. Not shockingly, like most early British bands, they were blues-based or pop-based bands. The bands he was in include Black Snake Moan, New Memphis Bluesbreakers, Crawling King Snakes, Obs-Tweedle, Listen. One song he would come to sing quite frequently is Robert Johnson's "Travelling Riverside Blues" or known as "The Lemon Song". With it's risqué lyrics, he seemed to make it work. Most people who worked with him early on said he had that kind of rock-star aura around him, like he was a person who could definitely make it in the music business because he had that type of confidence. The book describes him with his good looks as being the oh so typical good looking rock god. The book talks about him doing all this music stuff when he was still in primary school at King Edward VI Primary School. Unlike a lot of the students, who had short hair, he was trying to grow his blonde mane in to an Elvis-type haircut, which all but annoyed the headmaster and professors there. Also, he seemed to be friends with a lot of people, including Terence "Geezer" Butler, now of Black Sabbath fame. Considering that all the members of Black Sabbath came from Aston, in Birmingham, and Robert Plant and John Bonham came from another part of Birmingham, they almost always ran into each other.

If I were at a Led Zep concert back then, I'd probably be staring at him. He's handsome!!!

Jeez, you think those jeans could be any tighter?!?!?

His first wife was a woman named Maureen Wilson. She was born in West Bromwich, or "West Brom" as I'm sure it's referred to by locals. Her family had emigrated to England from Goa, India. She had a younger sister named Shirley, who was dating a friend of Rob's. Not shockingly, Rob was good friends with John "Bonzo" Bonham. His wife Pat often described Rob as daft and said that she didn't want John hanging with him because it would end in financial ruin. During Zeppelin's first inaugural tour of the US, he met up with the Plaster Casters, a group of girls dedicated to making plaster molds of rock stars who were "gifted". Rob politely refused. A lot of people often described Rob as gentle, polite and a general hippie who often wooed girls with flowers and poetry. With his wife Maureen, they would have two kids, a daughter named Carmen and a son named Karac Pendragon Plant. Apparently, his middle named meant "head dragon" in Welsh. When he found out his son died at age seven from an infection, he had a complete mental breakdown. In fact, the song "All My Love" is a soulful tribute to his lost son. As the 1970s rolled into the 1980s, Plant started to think about things outside Zeppelin.

L-R: Jesse, Carmen, his grandson and granddaughter (Carmen's children on either side of Robert), son Logan Plant and his wife

As years went on, "Stairway to Heaven", a song that Zeppelin is extremely known for, Plant's feelings toward the song would take a negative turn, saying the lyrics were "hippie dippy". He would do everything in his power to distance himself from that song as much as possible. Not to mention, guitar player Jimmy Page would marry his girlfriend, a French model named Charlotte Martin and would conceive their first child, a daughter named Scarlet. As the years went on, Rob figured out how to control the audience rather than the shy awkwardness of his earlier bands, one of which was called the Band of Joy, which featured Bonham on drums.

Unlike the other members, whose vices probably included drugs, Rob's vice was being a womanizer. He loved the ladies. But when he was not on tour, he went to Jennings Farm, near his home in Birmingham. That is where he lived with his wife Maureen and their now two kids.

During a vacation on the Greek island of Rhodes, Robert, his wife Maureen, his two kids, Karac and Carmen and Jimmy Page's daughter Scarlet were in a rented Austin Mini when Maureen lost control of the car and they ended up in a wreck. Robert broke his right arm and leg and ankle, Karac broke his leg, Maureen's pelvis was shattered, and told that she would have problems giving birth later on because it would be near impossible to pull the baby's head out and friends of theirs were following in a car behind them. They told Jimmy, who was out of the country with his wife for some odd reason, that his daughter had been in a wreck. The Greek hospital wouldn't allow an English doctor on site to help, so they group had to be essentially smuggled out of the hospital under the blanket of night. Maureen also needed a blood transfusion for her injuries and being of Anglo-Indian descent, her blood type was rare. Luckily for her, her sister was with her; she was in the other car behind them. After that, Robert and one of Zeppelin's crew members flew out to LA to begin work on their next album. This crew member, Benji LaFevre had to act as nursemaid to Rob, with things like lifting him into bed, undressing and redressing him, bathing him and helping him use the bathroom. It is said that to this day, Robert is unable to fully extend his damaged right arm. Not to mention, because of his broken leg, he had to sit down, which meant he was unable to breathe properly and get the right amount of air into his lungs to hit extremely high, air raid siren-type wails and sustain those notes. He was almost a shell of his former self.

With all the negative goings on in Zeppelin, Robert started thinking about quitting the band and going solo. Then his world came crashing down when he got a call saying that his then seven year old Karac had died from an infection. One of the crew members for Zeppelin went into Rob's room to see him with his head in his hands and crying. He, John Bonham and Benji LaFevre flew home for Karac's funeral. He kept blaming himself for his son's death, with the typical idea of "If I were here, he wouldn't have died".

After that, he started thinking about a solo career. The early to mid 1980s saw Robert emerging as a solo artist, releasing albums such as Now and Zen, Pictures at Eleven, Shaken N' Stirred. Ironically enough my stepdad has all three of these albums. Now and Zen ended up faring more successful because it was more of a classic rock album rather than Pictures at Eleven and Shaken N' Stirred because those used the technology that was available at the time, suffice to say it was new-wave technology such as drum machines and keyboards, and the music was more R&B, blues-based. He played at the somewhat successful Farm Aid event, where it was said that there was somewhat of a Zeppelin reunion because he, Jimmy Page and John Paul Jones were there. But it was said that he was almost trying to relive the ghosts of the past because he had cut his hair short, was not wearing the usual t-shirt and tight jeans like he used to and his voice sounded strained. He also talks about his daughter Carmen dating a bass guitarist and being told by this guitarist that "Black Dog" had a mistake in it.

Not to mention, he started a romance with his ex-wife's sister, Shirley. That didn't last. It has been said that Plant is a womanizer, but he likes to enchant women with his enormous charisma, kindness and gentlemanly charms, as well as poetry and flowers. Ever the proverbial hippie. When Eddie Trunk of That Metal Show interviewed him years later, he said "At the end of the day, I'm just an old hippie." Rob married years later and had another child, Logan. Also, he's a grandfather because his daughter Carmen has a child. Once when he and his niece were getting a photo together, people actually thought they were dating because she was a beautiful blonde in a tight dress until someone explained the beautiful blonde was his niece, who he had his arm around. Not to mention, he has a son named Jesse Lee Plant, whose mother's identity is unknown.

In 2008, he received two very high honors. He was made Vice President of the Wolverhampton Wanderers, a football team he has supported for the last 55 years and was made a Commander of the Order of the British Empire. In 2007, he and the rest of Led Zeppelin reunited for a series of concerts at the O2 Arena in London. This small tour of theirs was made into a concert film called Celebration Day. On drums they had none other than Jason Bonham. The band tore through Zeppelin classics such as "Communication Breakdown", "Black Dog", "Immigrant Song", "Good Times Bad Times", etc.

In more recent years, he has been doing some side work with country singer Alison Krauss. Both of them appeared on the CMT show Crossroads, which pairs rock musicians with country musicians. Not to mention, he's been working on some solo stuff. One of the people helping him with that is country musician Patty Griffin, who he has been dating for the last few years. One funny comment is that once Robert brought someone home who was younger than his daughter Carmen and she replied "Robert, the next time you bring someone home, can you make sure they are older than I am?" That's the thing; he has that roving eye, always an eye out for the ladies. In more recent times, he has a band called the Sensational Shape Shifters. Also, one time he had met Adele backstage at Live with Jools Holland because she was premiering her song "Someone Like You" while he was debuting some solo stuff he had written. He kissed her on the cheek and told her "You make me proud to be British".

In 2013, things took a turn for the straight up eerie. He had to file a restraining order against a woman named Alyson Billings, who was obsessively stalking Robert. She sent him notes saying things like he was betraying her for seeing another woman and such.
