-As the film got closer to being finished, Donald Pleasance passed away
-The room in the sanitarium that Kara is in and escapes from is 237, the room reputed to be haunted in The Shining
-Many of the scenes with Donald Pleasance were deleted out of the film because director Joe Chappelle found him to be "too boring"
