Day 24-If You Won the Lottery...

Here we go!
https://never3nding.tumblr.com/post/2660644142/tumblr-30-day-challenge

Take my family to Tahiti
-My mom and stepdad are in love with Tahiti. They have been there numerous times and they want to go back, but like most travelling experiences, Tahiti is expensive. You have to pay for most if not all your meals, drinks and other stuff unless you luck out with an all inclusive, which is rare in French Polynesia.
Travel
-I'd love to travel. London would be one place I'd go to because a good majority of the bands I listen to come from London, mostly Iron Maiden, Queen, The Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin, The Clash, The Police, As Lions, Billy Idol. And the bands I listen to that don't come from London have gone to this city to record. Plus, I'd love to see an authentic soccer (football) game. Doesn't matter the team. If they are English, I'd love to see them play. I'd love to go to Australia because it's beautiful. Not now, with those raging wildfires. I'd love to visit Japan because I've been deeply interested in the culture since I was 13.

Donate to charity
-I'd donate to the ASPCA, because I love animals. I'd donate to Wounded Warriors because I deeply support the military. I'd donate to Alzheimer's Association because Alzheimer's Disease  runs in my stepdad's family and it's what killed his aunt Rita. I'd donate to the Breast Cancer Foundation because I can't even begin to imagine the horror of getting the diagnosis of breast cancer. The horror of losing your hair or even having to have a mastectomy done.

Find a passion and go back to school
-If I could, I'd love to go to college or university for something. The only problem is that I have no passion for anything anymore. I used to have a passion for medicine, but my biological father drove that out of me by saying I was a failure in school, what makes anyone think I would be any better in medicine? No one would trust someone who can't pass a class in school. My mom and stepdad say that if I am destined to do something or have the talent for it, then I should pursue it. You can't go to school just for something you're interested in. You have to be destined to do that, have a talent for it and a strong passion for it.

Slight cosmetic surgery
-Nothing too major. Just mostly some sort of weight loss procedure, like that Coolsculpting that keeps getting advertised on TV. I would never modify my body in major ways, like breast augmentation or enlargement, lip fillers or any of that. The only reason I would want a weight loss thing like Coolsculpting is to help me lose a few pounds. I'm not fat, but I'm not skinny either. I'm curvy, but I do have problem areas with my midsection. But then again, what woman doesn't?

Benefits of Travelling

Besides seeing new destinations, studies show that travelling can good for your health!! YAY!! Now where's that suitcase?...…..
1.) It teaches you about the world
-Saint Augustine once said "The world is a book, and those who do not travel read only a page". Any university course can teach you about countries, but you can learn so much more about the traditions, culture of the country you visit. You can interact with the locals, who will, most likely, be more than happy to teach you about their ways of life

2.) You can learn about your homeland
-You can not only learn about a new culture, but you can also learn about your own homeland. You will notice unique cultural differences

3.) You can learn a lot about yourself
-It's been said that those who want to travel abroad want to "find themselves". You are given the chance to reflect on what it's like to be far from your home, what you feel about your homeland, how you feel about foreign people or what you do/don't know about the various places in the world.

4.) Tolerance is key!
-Everyone says that they are tolerant of everyone. But is that really true? You can often meet others who are different from you and that will teach you to be more accepting of people different from you and also more open

5.) Times you'll never forget
-Everyone looks forward to creating memories they'll never forget when travelling. You tend to change slightly by doing activities you never thought you'd do. You'll see beautiful landscapes and areas you never would have seen at home. You'll talk to people you never thought you'd ever meet

6.) Confidence and independence can be yours
-Travelling makes you feel more confident and independent. You realize that any situation can be mastered. You find out that you can survive without help from others. You realize you are stronger than you thought

7.) Knowledge is key!
-You can learn a lot through travelling. You can learn all sorts of things, such as a new recipe, find something pop culture-related you may never have known about, a new way of solving problems, a new mindset or more

8.) The language of travel
-Every country has its own language and dialects for different areas. Travelling can improve your language skills. If you go to a country where they speak the same language as you, you can learn some new local words and phrases only used there. If you go to a country that speaks a different language, you will learn even more about that language, especially if the local culture is what interests you and propelled you to go to that country in the first place

9.) Motivation!
-People will often say that when they return home from a long journey, their motivation is higher. You might learn things you want to try at home. These experiences will give you a new energy, a new sense of purpose

10.) Bragging rights
-Everyone loves to tell a good story about the places they've seen, the things they've done. With all this travelling, you can have a few good stories for the kids and grandkids. You can look back on life in your older years and realize that you have lived a full life, that your life was not in vain. You can be satisfied you have done so much. This will give you unlimited satisfaction and happiness

9 Annoying Things Friends Say When Returning from Travelling

We all have friends who brag about all the amazing things they did on their time away. Or they brag about how they met all sorts of interesting people, the amount of booze they drank or whatnot. Here are 9 annoying things friends may say when returning.
1.) You haven't had coffee until you've drank it here!
-It's pretty much a known fact that each country brews coffee differently. It may not have been grown in the volcanic soils of Hawaii or passed through the digestive system of an Indonesian cat, but coffee is coffee none the less

2.) "That place was way too touristy for me"
-For starters, you want to say to them "WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU WERE?!?!?!" Every country has those locations considered too "touristy" but people still go to see them. It's amazing the things that come out of people's mouths

3.) I had the craziest night at the Full Moon Party
-For one thing, a lot of countries have parties to celebrate things that are important to them. For example, in springtime in Japan, when the cherry blossoms bloom and fall, parties are held to view them because it is considered a beautiful occasion. (I would go and see them like the locals) No one really cares about the drunken nightclub war stories you have.

4.) You have to see [insert famous landmark] when the sun is coming up.
-This is so typical it's pathetic. Not everyone wants to go to the same places for the same reasons as you. Everyone has those places in the world they want to see for reasons personal to them. So if you keep irritating people about seeing this place when the sun is coming up, you're going to find something being shoved where the sun doesn't shine!

5.) Travelling really changes your personality
-Travelling is different for everyone. Some consider backpacking through Europe to see the historical sights an eye opening experience, especially if you've never been out of the country before. Some consider drinking the bar dry in Riviera Maya, Mexico a legend to behold. It's not like travelling changes everyone. If it's your first time, last time or just a vacation somewhere, it can certainly open your eyes and make an impact

6.) It was time to unplug
-Yes, we all know we're just dying to post those pics on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram or any other mindless drivel called social media. Funny, for someone who said they wanted to "unplug", those social media sites are seeing some high density from you...

7.) "That reminds me of this one time in Argentina..."
-When someone asks you if you've ever been to a place, it's okay to say yes and tell them about it. It's a completely new thing to shoehorn your travel experiences into a conversation that has nothing to do with it.

8.) You should be able to fit everything you own into a backpack
-First things first, consider where you are going. Some places are subject to radical changes in climate. You need to be prepared. A carry on and a suitcase should be sufficient. For example, if you plan on climbing Mt. Fuji in Japan during the spring and summer, you need to bring proper winter gear for climbing the mountain, such as winter clothes, winter coat, hat, gloves, VERY GOOD hiking shoes and proper summer and spring weather gear for when you come down. It's all down to knowing how the weather and climate is in the destination you're embarking to

9.) I'm glad I went when I did
-Here's a translation for this: "I had the best trip ever and you will never come close to that". Everyone has those one or two special destinations they want to see. They've been planning, saving and doing what they needed to prep themselves for that special day when they can embark. It does not reflect well on you when you basically brag about them not having as good a trip as you. Everyone travels to different places for different reasons. For some it's culture. For some it's religion. For some it's to see the sights. Do not take away the specialness of their dream destination(s) just because it doesn't compare to what you did. Not everyone aims to get completely London Blitzed on alcohol the whole time they are on vacation. Do not put someone down for wanting to go to a certain place in the world simply because you don't want to go there.

Day 19-3 Wishes

This will be hard
https://never3nding.tumblr.com/post/2660644142/tumblr-30-day-challenge

To be beautiful
-I wish I be more beautiful. If anything, I probably look like Georgia May Jagger's ugly sister. I have full lips, a very slight gap in my teeth and skin so fair it could probably burst into flame on a sunny day, despite the fact I lay out in the sun every summer. Not only that, but with the late hours I have been working, I can only eat a little something before having to go to bed, so I am basically starving myself and I am unable to work out because of the long hours

Travel
-I've been dreaming of travelling to London since I was 16. I am 29, so it's a long-running dream. I have the money saved up. It's all down to actually planning it. I just want to have enough vacation time from work to do so. Right now, at work, the only people who can take off are people with enough seniority. I have hardly any. Everyone else can start requesting time off on Jan. 18, after the first major holiday of the year, Martin Luther King Jr. Day. And even then we'll be working. Any major holidays-Christmas and Thanksgiving-are the ONLY days we get off work. All other holidays-Columbus Day, President's Day, Veteran's Day, Memorial Day, etc., we have to work our full 8+ hours. But, aside from that little rant (so sorry about that), I have dreamed of travelling to London and taking my sister with me. She loooooooooves punk rock and what better place for a lover of all things punk to go than London? Where it all started?

Front row tickets for me and my family to see a concert
-I would love to have front row tickets for me and my family to see a concert. The one band that I think would strike a particular emotional cord with my mom is Lynyrd Skynyrd. She has been a fan since she was a child. Her class song when she graduated high school was "Freed Bird". We were lucky enough to be able to take her to see Skynyrd recently. When they played "Free Bird" with late front man Ronnie Van Zant's hat on the microphone, my mom was in tears. I love when me or my sister can do something that special for someone we love. If we were able to get front row tickets to Skynyrd, I bet she would be in tears once more. But, unfortunately, the only downside is that getting front row tickets or anything near that is near impossible. I already had to play Beat the Clock to get tickets to Iron Maiden because the day they went on sale, I had a job interview. I was fighting to get tickets on my phone before the person interviewing me for the job came. And it turned out the two security guards nearby were doing the same thing, judging from them saying things like "Come on, Ticketmaster. Mama wants to see Maiden!"

Day 7-What You Hate Most

I hate a lot of things. Here are some...
https://never3nding.tumblr.com/post/2660644142/tumblr-30-day-challenge

Racism
-I've always hated racism. Why do we all have to hate? If people think that racism died out in the 1960s, you're wrong. Racism is still alive and well and getting stronger every day. People want to hate others simply because they are different. Because they practice different religions. Because they love same sex people rather than opposite sex people. Because they speak different languages or are of a different ethnicity or come from a different country. It pains me to know that this still exists. It makes me cry when I hear just how brutal some people can be simply because someone is different. My mother and father may have been racist, but thankfully they raised me and my sister to be very open and tolerant of everyone. I am so thankful of that. If I going to not like someone, it's not going to be based on their skin color or race. It's going to be because they did something to me to make me lose my respect and trust for them.

Bullying
-As a victim of bullying herself, I can say I hate it. Me and my sister hate it. Our own father bullied us growing up, in addition to classmates doing it. We were made fun of for everything and it's no wonder we have trust issues. We don't trust anyone, which is why we are both single. We have self-esteem and self-confidence issues. We both worry about what someone is thinking about us.

Showing off a lot of $$$
-What I mean is when you hear about these musicians, athletes, actors and others with a lot of money buying all this expensive stuff, probably just to show off. If I had even half the money that these people had, I would spend on things that I needed. Like home improvements for the house me, my mom, stepdad and sister live in. I would take my family on a weeklong trip to Tahiti because my mom and stepdad love it there. I would donate some to charity. I would use it for good. It makes me sick to hear about how some of these people are blowing all their money on expensive crap they don't need. It's just like the lottery. These people win millions and billions and they spend, spend, spend and before they know it, they're living on the streets, homeless. It just pains me to think about how some people can spend like there's no tomorrow when I am working a regular job and can only dream of doing things sometimes. I can only dream of travelling the world, but it costs a lot of money and I have to save up a lot. Basic point-it's stupid to spend money like that. It's ridiculous!!

My new and improved "Bucket List"

You know what this means if you've ever seen the movie The Bucket List. Starring Jack Nicholson and Morgan Freeman, this movie tells the story of two terminally ill men who, while strangers at first, become friends over the years and try to accomplish a list of things on their "bucket list", a list of things to do b4 they "kick the bucket". Ever since seeing that movie, it gave me the idea to come up with a bucket list. Here are some of mine, although I've had to change it a few times here and there!

Get a tattoo
-I'm down to deciding on something 1960s or Asian. If it's 1960s, I would like it to be a Peace Frog, sketch of a hippie girl or maybe a VW Microbus. If it's Asian, I would like it to be either a Japanese cherry blossom tree or a geisha girl

Graduate from college
-I feel like such a failure for not graduating college while my sister did. I really want to go for Criminology, doing forensic science like on CSI. Either that, or maybe do something like on Criminal Minds, using psychology to analyze the behavior of what makes someone a serial killer or rapist. but I'm bound and determined to go to school for this stuff. Then I'm out of the crap job I'm in, where I have to fight for even one day off!
Meet someone famous
-This list is too long! I'd love to meet: Tony Iommi (Black Sabbath) because: if it weren't for hearing Paranoid by them on a local heavy metal station, I'd never be fans of this band. Not to mention, after reading that book by him, he seems like a generally sweethearted guy. Plus, you gotta respect the guy; he overcame the loss of two of his fingers, making him think he's never play guitar. But now he's playing, beating the odds! Awesome! Paul Stanley (Kiss). Yeah, I think he's cute, blah blah blah, but also a good musician. He seems like the kind of guy who does not like to put himself out there, like if he can avoid getting into the newspapers or gossip mags, he does. Kate Winslet. She's always been my favorite actress. She's smart, beautiful and just a good actress. Maggie Smith. Everyone knows her as Professor Minerva McGonagall in the Harry Potter series. When I look at her, I honestly can't believe she's still acting. She's smart, funny when she needs to be, and actually very beautiful for her age. I especially loved her in Keeping Mum; she was hilarious in there! Sharon Osbourne: in addition to being very beautiful for her age, she's funny, sarcastic and just plain awesome! How many other women can you name who could say they're the wife of "The Prince of Darkness?"

Paul Stanley, aka Starchild

Sharon Osbourne

Maggie Smith

Tony Iommi

Kate Winslet

Get my license to drive
-Ooooooh, I'm so close to this I can taste it, mooooohahahahahahahahahahaha!
Travel to England, Japan, Australia. Italy
-The cultures of these countries is what draws me to them. Not to mention such sexy guys, lol. I swear, I'm not sure what is making English guys sexy, but good God! There's some real hotties coming from there ;) Plus, the local sights in these countries. I'd love to see a football game in England; hopefully the Tottenham Hotspurs will be playing, either them or Arsenal

Tottenham Hotspurs

Italy

Japan

Awww! A kangaroo!

London!

Learn to read, write, speak Chinese, Japanese, German, Russian and Italian
-After learning Spanish in high school, this sort of started a fascination with other languages and the cultures associated with them, although my mom says I want to learn all the "hard to learn" languages

Chinese

German

Italian, obviously, lol!

Japanese

Russian
Have a slight cosmetic surgery
-I have this small mole on my arm that I sometimes worry about when laying out in the sun; I honestly don't want skin cancer and I worry about that. So I'd love to have it removed

Fall in love
-Sometimes I think this will never be possible. Sometimes comprehension kicks in and makes me think "Who would ever love someone like me?" Sure my family loves me, but then again, aren't they supposed to?

Write a book
-I know this sounds stupid, but I think this would be interesting
Go rock climbing
-I think this is cool. But I'm not sure what I'd do about my lungs; I've had asthma since I was 16 and plus, living with a smoker for the first 20 years of my life has probably turned my lungs as yellow as a sunflower or black as Ronnie Wood's hair

Go to a concert for the following people:
Aerosmith
-These guys are awesome!! I'm surprised that people haven't started calling them "The Boston Bad Boys" because of how they're supposedly like The Stones. These guys make some good hard rock, but if they had to have a name, I'm pretty sure it would be something like "The Bad Boys of Boston" or something!
The Rolling Stones
-These guys rock! I saw a concert last night of one of their shows from 2013, in Hyde Park. They played "Jumpin' Jack Flash". It still amazes me that, at 70 years old, Mick Jagger is still strutting stages, belting out those songs. Those guys are all in their 60s and 70s and they're still rocking? Amazing!!
Black Sabbath
-This one is kinda new! Ever since hearing "Paranoid", I've been thinking about and hoping to go see these guys
Judas Priest
-These guys were my first favorite true metal band. These guys are not the glam metal of the 1980s; no these guys are true, all out power metal, the kind of music people dubbed "headbangers" listen to! And plus, how can you honestly argue with a band whose singer rides out onto the stage on a pitch black Harley Davidson?
Kiss
-Yup, gotta see these guys! In addition to their music blowing the minds of its fans, you get an additional show when their bass player, Gene Simmons, shoots a fireball into the air, or when their rhythm guitarist, Paul Stanley, smashes his guitar Pete Townshend-style, when their lead guitarist, Tommy Thayer now, plays a guitar that starts smoking, or when their new drummer, Eric Singer, is up there on his riser, playing drums and it suddenly starts rising/levitating
Bad Company
-"Shooting Star". It all started with that song! For me, all it takes is one good song and I'm hooked on the music. I would love to see these guys put on a concert. I mean, how can you honestly doubt their music or ability of putting on a good concert? Plus, at whatever age he's at now, Paul Rodgers somehow still makes wearing leather pants look good!

Day 7: 7 Fears

I'm not really sure if I have 7 fears. But here are some of them

Spiders!
-I hate these stupid bugs! I'm scared to death of these horrible little creatures. They leave webs everywhere, and when you walk into them, you suddenly turn into a martial arts expert, because you're swatting at invisible stuff

Black Widow. If I see one of these nearby, I really should be worrying. The females with the red hourglass are the dangerous ones!
Having my heart broken
-I've never been in love, but one thing I do fear is having my heart broken
Dying
-I don't want to go until it's my time. I got waaaay too much to do to bite the big one!

Going to my high school reunion
-I'm a little nervous, thinking about what might happen...

And that's all I seem to have for fears

If I Had 3 Wishes...

Do you ever just stop and wonder about if someone granted you 3 wishes, what would you do? I wonder that close to all the time. Anymore, I gotta have something worth hoping for, otherwise my mind is occupied by trying to get a job. If a genie or someone granted me 3 wishes, here are some of the things I'd wish for:

-I could have enough money to pay off school and help out family
-Meet someone famous
Lucy Liu. She's one of my biggest fave actresses ever!
-Go to a rock concert. I've never been to one before. And if for who, either Def Leppard, Judas Priest, Kiss or Aerosmith
Def Leppard concert
-Be able to travel somewhere far and exotic
Nikko Shinkyo Bridge in Tokyo, Japan
-Juast have some money in general
-Have a job. As you can see, my wishes would be simple. I'm not an extravagant person, I just want simple things
-Get a picture with a rock musician I like, preferably Joe Perry, Stevie Van Zant, Paul Stanley or even Mick Jagger. I'm slowing beginning to respect him as a person again. It's just that when he does something, I lose a little respect for him if it's bad. Hey, a girl is allowed to dream, lmao!

He's so cute!

-To be beautiful. Because sometimes with my blonde hair down to my shoulders, I sometimes look like a female version of David Lee Roth with my hair the way it is.

New Goals for the Future

Here is my "revised" bucket list

-Get a tattoo

 -Learn a new language

-Have a good paying job

-Win the lottery

-Help my family any way I can

-Meet someone famous

Kate Winslet. I'd love to meet her. I think she is the most kind person ever!! And plus, I think she is the most beautiful woman ever, at least in my opinion I think she's beautiful

My Biggest Wish?

Continuation of a tag post

Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha, you're kidding right?
I have so many wishes I'd love to come true it would make your head explode. Well, here goes nothing

To be beautiful; have someone say I'm beautiful and have some meaning behind it and not just say it to be nice

Wouldn't mind seeing The Stones in concert, as long as it's not too much to ask. I kow I've said I wanna see them in previous posts, but I wouldn't mind seeing them. Everyone seems to get what they want. Why can't I have a little happiness in my life? I know it seems like I'm asking for the moon, but believe me, I'm not. I'm asking for a little tiny star, lmao!!
Graduate college and get the hell out of this stupid school. Gateway SUCKS!

Have some money tucked away to do stuff I like

Win the lottery and help out family

Actually have a job in Graphic Design and actually like it. Definitely screen printing (making T-shirts and stuff, even though my mom says it's not a real job. Gotta have something worth hoping for)

Meet someone famous
