Bradley Darrell Wong was born on October 24, 1960, in San Francisco, California. He is best known for his role as police psychologist Dr. George Huang on
Law and Order:SVU, Father Roy Mukada on HBO's
Oz and as the character Song Liling in
M. Butterfly
He was born to Chinese parents in San Francisco, his mother, Roberta Christine Leong was a telephone company supervisor. He attended Lincoln High School before going to San Francisco University. On the show Law and Order:SVU, he has recurring roles as FBI psychologist Dr. George Huang, and as the prison priest Father Roy Mukada on HBO's Oz. He has also starred in movies like All American Girl, which was made in 1994 and was about a Korean-American family, the Freshman(1990), Father of the Bride(1991) and it's 1995 sequel, where he played a wedding planner, Jurassic Park(1993), Executive Decision(1996),Slappy and the Stinkers(1997), Mystery Date(1991), and in the 1998 movie Mulan, he provided the voice of the Chinese Army captain Li Shang and also provided his voice for Shang in the movie Mulan II. And as for TV, he has starred on such shows as The X-Files, and Sesame Street.
He is openly gay and has 2 children with his partner Richie Jackson, who is a talent agent. The 2 had kids born thru a surrogate mother,son Boaz Dov, who died 90 minutes after birth, and Jackson Foo Wong.
