The Simpsons Road Rage

The Simpsons
-2001 video game based on the TV show The Simpsons
-It is part of a small series of games based on the show
-The game starts out with Homer, Marge, Bart and Lisa. In many ways, this game is very similar to the widely popular game Crazy Taxi, in the sense that you go around, picking up passengers and take them to their destinations

Summary
-The story of the game involves multi-millionaire Mr. Burns wanting to buy up all the transit systems in Springfield and creating radioactive buses that threaten the health of the public. Because of this, the citizens of Springfield are outraged and must use their own cars as taxis as a means of safer transportation. They must earn enough money to pay back Burns and have him get rid of the radioactive buses to return the town to it's normal ways

-The general gameplay is the player is to earn money by picking up passengers and taking them to their destinations. Along the way, players can use money to get new playable characters and new locations, such as the Nuclear Power Plant, Springfield Mountains, etc.

-Each time you pick up a passenger, you are given a certain amount of time to get them there. If you get them there fast, you get paid high. If you get them there slow, they pay you little. There are also obstacles you must steer clear of, such as Mr. Burns' limo, being driven by his assistant, Waylon Smithers and the nuclear buses.

-There are 17 different vehicles you can unlock as well as 6 starting locations and 10 different missions that unlock a new car

-Also, challenges may come up during your driving, such as 'don't hit traffic for a bonus' or 'hit 3 cars for a bonus'. If you succeed at the bonus, you get bonus money

-Some of the missions involve protecting Krusty the Klown from a fan mob by driving him away, playing as groundskeeper Willie and collecting newspapers, getting Homer to work unnoticed by his boss, and helping bus driver Otto pass his driving test in the school bus
