Best Rock Tours of 2013

Since the clock is winding down to 2014, let's take a look at some of the best, most mind-blowing rock tours of this year!

Kiss
-Monster
-You really think these guys could escape the awesome rock tour list? For years, these guys were known to use enough pyro to level a small stadium. Now, they have another weapon in their pyro arsenal- a giant, moving, spider that shoots fireballs! And it's their stage, in which they play on!!

Sammy Hagar
-Four Decades of Rock
-To celebrate 40 years in rock, he staged a tour with former Van Halen member Michael Anthony and others
Ted Nugent/Styx/REO Speedwagon
-The Midwest Rock N' Roll Express
-Continuing from 2012, these guys are rocking the Midwest, thus the name

Robert Plant
-Presents Sensational Space Shifters
-Must be a solo project
Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers
-Summer 2013 Tour

Black Sabbath
-13
-Oh yeah, can't forget the "Godfathers of British Heavy Metal". It would be sacriledge to forget these guys. Even into their 60s, an age where most people think musicians need to stop, Black Sabbath is still rocking the stages, to the tunes of "Paranoid" "Iron Man" and "War Pigs". But in their growing list of songs, they've added "God is Dead" "End of the Beginning"
Paul McCartney
-Out There!

Brian Wilson/Jeff Beck
-Brian Wilson/Jeff Beck Tour
The Eagles
-History of The Eagles: Live in Concert

The Rolling Stones
-50 & Counting
-You honestly thought the "British Bad Boys" were down for the count? Nope! These guys are rocking and rolling into their 60s and 70s

For any Kiss fans who like Paul Stanley...

I might have to get this, lmao!!!!

You can read about him in 2014!!
He would most certainly be the last person you would expect to come out with a book. but he is. On April 22, 2014, he is releasing a memoir, titled Face the Music: A Life Exposed. He often compared writing a book like this to "writing a love letter to yourself". He says "Tooting my own horn is of no interest to me … it takes you away from real life. It’s a waste and I don’t find a need to sing my own praises"

But he had a slight change of heart later on, as he stated "[A]t this point, with the three other guys from the original lineup having written books, it’s kind of like, ‘OK, have you all said your piece? OK? Now let me tell you what happened"

Sounds like Paul Stanley still likes to keep to himself and is not arrogant, like some people put him out to be. Sounds like he is not the arrogant rock star people say he is

Kiss, Peter Gabriel, Linda Ronstadt are getting inducted into the Rock N Roll Hall of Fame!!!

I never thought I'd see the day when Kiss gets inducted! They should have been inducted years ago!!!
Not only them, Hall & Oates, Nirvana, Cat Stevens are also among the inductees. Find out more info at the link above :D Oh man, this is awesome!! If they put the induction ceremony on TV, I'm sooo watching it!!

45 years ago today: Rolling Stones Rock N' Roll Circus is filmed

Rolling Stones
On Dec. 11, 1968, the Stones filmed the Rock N' Roll Circus. They were not the only ones there to perform either. Marianne Faithfull, The Who, along with a supergroup consisting of John Lennon, Eric Clapton, Keith Richards, Jimi Hendrix guitarist Mitch Mitchell called the Dirty Mac, Jethro Tull, who released their debut album 6 weeks earlier.

This concert was a creative idea from Mick Jagger to release their recent album, Beggar's Banquet. Jethro Tull played here. In the film for this, future Black Sabbath guitarist Tony Iommi can be seen playing with Jethro Tull. He only played here once

The Who completely blew the Stones away. And not to mention, it was also the last time anyone would see Brian Jones perform. 6 months after the show was filmed, he drowned to death
Tony Iommi, in his Jethro Tull days

Seeing this makes me a little embarassed that I like Kiss

Kiss has a new app for phones! This will be available for all iOS devices!

Sega recently released Demon Tribe, a game in which you have to build a team of powerful warriors by capturing demons and blending them together to unearth the ultimate power: magic that turns you and your tribe into the demons you have to fight

By completing a tutorial, you can earn and thus, unlock these 2 special "Demons". You have to complete a tutorial and share the launch on Facebook/Twitter. This marks the bands' real first journey into video games, ever since 2000, when Psycho Circus: The Nightmare Child was released. This game has the player playing as a member of a Kiss tribute band who gains superhuman powers
