Youngblood

2000s
In 2005, he starred in Constantine, which was supposed to be almost like a sequel to The Devil's Advocate. In 2006, he starred alongside Sandra Bullock again in a romantic movie called The Lake House, which apparently did not do good, but opinions like this come from critics. Everyone has their opinions of movies. People say Ned Kelly with Mick Jagger sucked, but I liked it. See what I mean? Don't ever listen to critics!

When it rains, it pours.....

Things have not been going good or in my favor. For some reason, things seem to be going downhill for me. I just lost my aunt Mary this morning, she died in her sleep, my uncle Justin is rapidly losing his fight with Alzheimers, my dad recently quit smoking(good for him), but because of the moldy air out at his work place, he has developed pulmonary fibrosis. Yeah, you wouldn't believe what his building was built on top of: fill dirt! It was originally a landfill that his building was built over and because of the moldy air and all the bacteria and whatknot from that landfill, it has gotten into the ventilation system and is making everyone sick!!!!!! It's some kind of breathing disorder, and last night, when I came home from the library, I was shocked to find him sitting on the couch with a green tube attached to him and that was attached to an oxygen tank! My dad is on oxygen!! You know, when you're little, you think nothing can hurt your parents or make them sick, but when you get older, things change. I completely lost it last night, I just went into my room, and broke down into tears. What can I do? I wish there was something I could do but I don't know!! Recently, my dad had quit smoking, thank God for that, and according to the doctor he seen, smoking did not bring this on. He even said that before he went to the doctors, he was worried that they would tell him that he had emphysema or some kind of lung cancer, thank God it was none of those. But I'm still in the initial shock of seeing my dad on oxygen. I always thought parents were supposed to last forever, that they didn't get sick or whatever. Man was I in for a shock!?!

And as for other things, I've also been looking for a job that just doesn't seem to be out there. I've applied at virtually every place I can think of, but...nothing. I've had 2 very unsuccessful interviews, one was at this punk rock/new wave store. It's called Hot Topic and it's a pretty cool store. And I want someone to define irony for me, because in the interview, the woman, named Devan, said they were looking for someone who knows about heavy metal and what knot, not someone who listens to British rock. Yet 2 weeks after the interview, when I go in with my sister because she's there to pick up a hoodie she ordered, I see the same woman who did the interview, who coincidentally is the manager of that store, wearing a hole infested shirt with an image of the Sex Pistols' God Save the Queen album on it. WTF? I thought she didn't want British rock there? What the hell does she think The Sex Pistols do? They're a freakin 80s British punk band!! WTF is all I thought. And then I tried my luck at Krogers, a store near me, the interview went fine and they didn't call back. It wasn't until about a week later that my mom phoned me and said that the reason they didn't return my calls was that they didn't want to work with the hours I had given them, apparently they want someone who is not going to college. I'm currently attending a small technical school and they didn't want to hire me obviously, WTF? So basically last night I applied for over 15 different places, including this one place near me. It's a restaurant in a place called Crestview Hills, Ky, called The Pub, it's supposed to be the only and I mean ONLY place to get real authentic British food obviously. A friend suggested I try there because she was joking around and said "You'd fit in there perfectly." And I have to admit that she was right. I think that would be a fun place to work. So, I filled out the application and I'm going to give it a few days and call them back. Who knows? Maybe I'll land a job there. Just got to keep my fingers crossed. I really hope I land a job there. I think it would be cool to work in a British themed place, be awesome, maybe adopt an accent, lol! Just joking. But I think it would be cool, IDK if it's a curse, but I seem to know more about British culture than American culture. IDK if that's bad, but I don't care. It's what I like.

30 Day Movie Challenge Day 4

Day 04- Sad Movie

Ghost
This movie gets me teared up almost every time

What this movie is about is a banker named Sam Wheat(Patrick Swayze) and his artist girlfriend Molly Jensen(Demi Moore) live happily in New York. He discovers some major problems at work and confides in his friend Carl Bruner(Tony Goldwyn). Sam decides to investigate and one night after leaving a theatre, Sam and Molly are attacked, Sam is killed by a gunshot from a fight with an armed thugh named Willy Lopez(Rick Aviles). When his ghost leaves his body, only then does he realize he's dead. He then seeks out the help of a psychic named Oda Mae Brown(Whoopi Goldberg), he tells her to convince his girlfriend that she's in danger because the thug has his wallet with his address, but while still in shock over her loss of him, she does not believe the psychic. Soon after, Sam runs into an aggressive ghost(Vincent Schiavelli) who was killed by a couple of kids who pushed him in front of a subway car. This spirit teaches him how to hanress the ghostly powers he was given. When Sam finds out that Carl has laundered the money under a false name, Oda Mae and Sam go there and get the money out. Carl find this out when he tries to access the account and it doesn't work. Carl then hires Willy to go after Molly, and he goes to Oda Mae's apartment and Sam plays tricks with him. After Willy is scared stiff, he escapes, running outside and is hit by a car. After he is dead, his spirit leaves the body and shadowy demons come to take his soul to Hell. Towards the end, Carl is killed by a window with broken glass on it, his spirit is then taken to Hell. Basically this story is about how a banker gets revenge. It's so teary at the end, because she can hear him just as he's about to cross over. The song Unchained Melody by the Righteous Brothers was the main theme of this movie.

30 Day Challenge Day 3

Day 3- Movie that makes you happy

Freejack
This movie is basically about a racecar driver named Alex Furlong(Emilio Estevez) who is wisked away to the year 2009 to be the recipient for a mind transplant for a businessman named Ian McCandless(Anthony Hopkins). The movie was made in 1992, but is supposed to take place in 1991, go figure! He sends a 'bonejacker', basically mercenaries with time travel devices to go and get Furlong, and these 'bonejackers' are led by Victor Vacendak(Mick Jagger), who will stop at nothing to do this and get paid. Furlong escapes and is labeled a 'freejack', lowest rung on the social ladder in the futuristic society, and he tries to find his girlfriend Julie Redlund(Rene Russo), who works for McCandless Inc. This movie's concept was taken from the 1950s era sci fi book Immortality Inc by Robert Sheckley. From watching this movie, I see Mick looks a little skittish acting. I get the feeling he is uncomfortable acting, that he'd rather be taking the stage singing Stones tracks. He's a pretty good actor, but I get the feeling he's a little nervous on the acting camera. He totally rocked this movie out though.

30 Day Movie Challenge, Day 2

Day 2- Most Underrated Movie

I have to agree with Taysha the Film Geek on this one.
Donnie Brasco.

This movie, for those who may not know of it is about the story of Joseph D. Pistone. He was an FBI agent in the 1970s who went undercover for 6 years in the Bonanno crime family in New York. He used the alias 'Donnie Brasco' and also went by the name 'Donnie the Jeweler', who was supposed to be a street thief and also jewel expert. The movie is pretty cool, but also very violent, very graphic, bad language as well.
