We're all a little weird. I'm sure everyone is a little unique in their own way. I like it like that; if everyone was the same, this world would be BORING! We're all a little weird. That's what makes the world a cool place. We all have our loves and hates; our likes and dislikes; our little quirks that have shaped us into who we are. So here are some things that only us weird people may understand :D Some of these people may do, others not so much.
1. People are intimidated until you open your mouth. You almost, without fail, charm everyone you meet
2. You enjoy doing British accents and impersonations randomly.
-Personally, I like hearing British accents, especially on guys, lol. SO CUTE!
3. You have to fight, tooth and nail, not to do creepy faces at serious people you pass on the street
4. You hate talking on the phone. You hate talking when people are around. Listening to one thing and seeing something else is a lot on the senses
5. When you meet someone as weird as you, you are over the moon that someone else is on the planet and acts just like you. Instant friendship is only seconds away
-Yup, example one: my driving school teacher. She has the best taste in music and when I had sessions with her, we'd spend time learning to drive and talking about the music we love and she would make me so jealous when she said that she got to meet Tony Iommi from Black Sabbath. I'm still jealous!!!!
6. You can be impetuous sometimes. Then you catch yourself thinking about whether you were mean
-I usually try to avoid being mean. Makes me feel bad!
7. People mistake your weirdness for confidence and you end up being their social life jacket. But really you're as weird and uncomfortable as they are
8. There's no worse thing than having to hang out with "normal" people all day, when you'd rather be with your weird friends, talking about the weird stuff you love
-Isn't this the truth???????
9. You hate traditional parties and systems. Educational systems, proms, Super Bowl Sunday are just some of the things you just don't understand why people make such a big deal out of
-This is soooo me. I didn't even want to go to my junior prom. I only went because my classmates found out I wasn't going and told a teacher at school, who bought me a ticket
10. If you do choose a party, you're the lifeblood of it. You're what gets the party going and people mistake it for being outgoing, when in reality, you're just a weirdo
11. You kind of hate typical dates and small talk... please! First dates will be your Achilles Heel, meaning that it may not be your strong suit. You prefer first dates to be spontaneous and without some kind of tradition
12. Your dance styles change like clothes. They can range from "white dad at a barbecue" to "stripper whose rent is due tomorrow"
13. You can't stand clubs most of the time. You don't understand them and usually one of two things will happen, more often than not: 1.) you're with the right people and are the life of the party or 2.) you're not with the right people and feel annoyed by how fake it feels
14. You have your evil laugh down to an art form
15. You don't understand why it is not socially acceptable to break out in random song and dance in public
16. You feel almost out of place or vulnerable in certain overstimulating environments, but when it comes to concerts, you are always there, having a blast and love to perform
17. Your idea of fun is either racing around in shopping carts and making videos with your friends in your room at 3 am instead of being at the hottest nightclub where all the hot people and celebs hang
18. It takes a while for people to get you and your unique brand of humor. Then people find themselves thinking "At first I was wrong, but now, I like you and I think you're hilarious"
19. You think it's okay that there are 19 things on a list of 18
I'm a girl born in the wrong decade. I belong in the 1960s or the 1970s in my opinion. I bleed tie dye, my theme music is anything 1960s rock or 1970s rock or metal. I'm a hippie through and through. But also a hippie who loves old metal music. I believe that violence never solves anything, so why resort to it to solve problems? With all the wars the world has seen, there should be a clue somewhere in there!

Black Sabbath biopic?
I would go see this!
Here's some thing I never thought would happen. It's being considered that there is a Black Sabbath biopic in the making. Hopefully, it will be factually correct, have all the right information for all the fans out there. Because, if not, there's sure to be a riot on our hands, lol.
Trying to tell the story of the first name in heavy metal is no small or easy task. But someone out there is going to try and dominate this task. It's going to be, in the words of a Black Sabbath song "A Hard Road". What's going to make this task so difficult is trying to choose the right actors to play these iconic legends. According to Loudwire.com, they've chosen who they think would be the perfect choices for the metal legends. It won't necessarily be based on looks, but most likely more personality than anything. If you think there are better choices than this, please list them in the comments section. To be honest, I'm curious :D

John Michael Osbourne, aka 'Ozzy' Osbourne
-Colin Ferrell
-Known as The Prince of Darkness, Ozzy is one of those people you can simply conjure an image of in your head almost instantly. It's been suggested that in order to perfectly capture Ozzy's wild side, you need a guy with a bad boy reputation. And Colin Ferrell is the man. He's definitely got the bad boy side down perfect. While some will gripe saying he's not a dead ringer in appearances for The Prince of Darkness, the Irish-born actor does possess quite a few facial features of the singer. Besides, looks don't matter-it's the personality that's gonna count
Anthony Frank Iommi, aka Tony Iommi
-Christian Bale
-It's been said numerous times that the loss of Tony's fingertips are the power behind Sabbath's downtuned sound and in addition, that Iommi has been given the credit of inventing heavy metal. Despite there not being much in the resemblance department, Welsh actor Christian Bale does have that perfect ability to transform into whatever character he plays, from The Dark Knight to even the inventor of heavy metal himself
Terence Michael Joseph Butler, aka 'Geezer' Butler
-James McAvoy
-Almost 99.99% of the lyrics for Black Sabbath were written by their bass guitarist, Terence Michael Joseph Butler, aka 'Geezer' Butler. Originally studying to be an accountant, the band put him in charge of finances early on. To perfectly capture the band's genius lyricist, you need an intellectual, which essentially Geezer is. When not writing song lyrics, he always has his head stuck in a book. But, anyway, in order to perfectly capture Geezer in film, you need an intellectual and that is where James McAvoy comes in. Not only does the Scottish-born actor always play smart characters in movies, he even has the incredible luck of bearing a resemblance to the guitarist. With a few lessons in bass guitar and a few books on the occult, James McAvoy will be on his way to becoming Geezer Butler in no time
William Ward, aka Bill Ward
-Tom Hardy
-For the role of Black Sabbath's legendary drummer, an actor with some serious strength is needed. British actor Tom Hardy has been chosen. After all, he showed strength as a UFC fighter in Warrior and as a romantic spy in This Means War. He should have no problem at all of playing the skins like Ward if there is ever to be a movie made about these guys
This is pretty cool
Tony Iommi, who celebrated his 67th birthday yesterday, now makes an appearance in an animated cartoon. VH1.com is rolling out an online series called The Complete History of Heavy Metal. And in the first episode, it's about Tony Iommi.
His appearance is in an episode titled "Fingers Bloody Fingers", which almost parodies the Black Sabbath song "Sabbath Bloody Sabbath". He talks about the loss of his fingers in an industrial accident. He narrates the entire episode and cartoon images are used to tell how he lost the tips of the two middle fingers of his right hand and how his manager had come to the factory to give him a record of a gypsy guitarist named Django Reinhardt, who played with only two fingers, which really inspired him
Wishes of speedy recovery are going out to Iommi, who has been fighting lymphoma for going on three years now. He gave a recent update on his prognosis. "Because I had two different operations at the same time, one on my prostate and one on my lymph nodes, I had too many scans last year and too much radiation,” he reveals. “So I can’t have any more scans yet. Every day I feel around for lumps and bumps. Every time I get a pain in my stomach I think, ‘Oh God, it’s cancer."
He continues "It’s horrible. I even dream about it. But that’s my life now. The surgeon told me he doesn’t expect the cancer to go away. There’s a 30 percent chance that it could, but more than likely it will come back and it could be any time. I look at life differently now. I could be here another 10 years or just one year – I don’t know"

Found two new bands I like
Well, these bands may not be all that new to everyone else, but to me they are pretty new. Especially considering that I am really starting to love their music. Avenged Sevenfold is actually really good. Even though I hear "Hail to the King" nonstop on WEBN (102.7), a heavy metal and hard rock station out of Cincinnati, Ohio, I really do love that song and also this other one of theirs, "This Means War." I'm still in the process of discovering other songs of theirs, but in the meantime, I'll be busy headbanging my stress away, lol. And plus, I watched the Download Festival in England from 2014 on TV Saturday after shoveling our snowy driveway and I have to admit, these bands rock! And when I Googled Avenged Sevenfold just to see some of their songs, I learned they are a heavy metal band from Huntington Beach, California. How cool!!
As for the other band, it's Disturbed. I discovered them when I was coming back from the tattoo shop where my sister was getting her massive back tattoo started. It's so far a four session job; she's going this Saturday to finally finish it. Anyway, when we were coming back, she had WEBN on and it was playing what I thought was "Land of Confusion" by Genesis. Only the version I was hearing was a very intense heavy metal version of it. When I Googled who did it, it said that a heavy metal band out of Chicago, Illinois called Disturbed did it. And when I checked out the album that the song is from, Ten Thousand Fists, there are a lot of good songs on that album, which is why it has been on my Amazon Wishlist since I discovered it. Some of the songs I like off that album include: "Overburdened" and "Decadence". And I discovered another cover song they did I absolutely love. They did an amazing cover of the Judas Priest song "Living After Midnight". It's on an album called The Lost Children. I discovered this song yesterday. One of the TV shows I watch is called That Metal Show and on their Facebook page, they did a post asking what are your Top 5 Favorite Cover Songs and one person mentioned Disturbed "Living After Midnight". Being a Judas Priest fan, I soooo had to check it out. And sure enough, the band did a killer version of it. Anywho, I'm not sure if these guys would be considered nu metal or what kind of rock or metal they would be considered, but I like them!!

Grammy Drama
It seems that one year of the Grammys can't go by without Kanye West screwing something up. This year, he pulled a Taylor Swift-like stunt. He got up when American singer-songwriter Beck was awarded with Best Album of the Year. As usual, Kanye got up and took the award away from him forcefully. It seems that KISS guitarist Paul Stanley has Beck's back, saying that Beck should have kicked Kanye in the nuts.
According to Paul "Beck should’ve kicked Kanye right in the nuts and said, ‘Get the f— of MY stage!" Kanye, once again had problems with Beck getting the award over Beyoncé. At the 2009 VMAs, Taylor Swift got an award over Beyoncé.
"I don’t even know what [Beck] said. I just know that, the Grammys, if they want real artists to keep coming back, they need to stop playing with us. … And Beck needs to respect artistry, he should have given his award to Beyoncé. At this point, we tired of it. What happens is, when you keep on diminishing art, and not respecting the craft, and smacking people in the face after they deliver monumental feats of music, you’re disrespectful to inspiration. We, as musicians, have to inspire people who go to work every day, and they listen to that Beyoncé album, and they feel like it takes them to a different place. … I am here to fight for creativity. That’s why I didn’t say anything tonight, but you all knew what it meant when ‘Ye stepped on that stage". This is what that idiot Kanye said.

My new tattoo
As I said in a previous post, most specifically the one about tattoo reality shows, I did in fact get a tattoo. I got it on January 17, 2015, at One Shot Tattoo in Western Hills, a neighborhood of Cincinnati, Ohio. For anyone who reads this and is thinking about getting a tattoo...they don't hurt. They sting afterwards, like a really bad sunburn, but that's it. If you've ever gotten really badly sunburned, that annoying itchy sting is basically all that happens after getting a tattoo. It didn't hurt at all. To be honest, I thought getting a tattoo or "getting inked" in slang would hurt like you wouldn't believe. But, honestly, it didn't. A good piece of advice- chew gum or talk to the artist. Always helps. And also, don't take aspirin before. It thins the blood. Also, despite what some may say, tattoos do not hurt; they sting a little, like a bad sunburn, but not bad. If you've ever been badly sunburned, you'll survive. Also, tattoos do not bleed hardly at all. IDK what I was on that night, but man, I didn't stop talking once. Jeez, I was a real motor mouth that night, lmao. Anywho, on my next tattoo, which I will be getting in the very near future, I'm taking a trip to the Far East, in terms of my tattoo. I want my next one to be a Japanese tattoo, to reflect my long standing interest in the culture. I'm going to get it on my leg and I have a distinct feeling it will probably consume my leg, lol. My sister and stepdad actually came up with the idea and I love it. Originally I wanted to get a geisha girl, but I was sadly informed that mostly men get geisha girls. Strange thing to see a geisha girl on a guy. And they joked that Godzilla should be peeking around from the mountain. Anywho, the idea that my sister and stepdad came up with would be a Japanese Cherry Blossom tree with a few petals falling, a geisha girl strolling under it holding a lacquered umbrella with Mt. Fujiyama looming mysteriously in the background. Now that I think about it, I love that one more than anything and I can't wait to get it. I'm going to schedule it this upcoming Saturday when we go to One Shot to finish my sister's tattoo. Her current one is gigantic. It's two flamingoes with a setting sun between them, with palm trees on either side and some beach and ocean around it. She's going this Saturday to get it all colored in and it'll finally be done. Anywho, I'm going to see if one of the artists there can render up an image and if it looks good, I'm going to schedule my next tattoo. Can't wait!!! But, anyway, if anyone who reads this is going to get a tattoo, it doesn't hurt. Take this from someone who was afraid of needles!!!! I'm not so much afraid of those needles as I am afraid of those long doctor needles that they stab into your arm like a madman!

Why the tattoo communities don't like tattoo shows
Yeah, as if you probably haven't noticed, there seems to be dozens of reality shows about our favorite form of expression- tattoos. Some seem real, others maybe not so much. Well, some actual tattoo artists think otherwise about these tattoo shows.
- Tattooing is a form of self expression and also called counter culture. But nowadays it's more consumer culture. Tattoos are not like the cheap junk you can buy at dollar stores and throw away when you're done with it. Tattoos are FOREVER!! That's what some people fail to realize when getting one. It's also a good thing to think about what you want to get, because once you get it, it's more expensive and painful to get it removed if you regret it
- There is a very rich, very vast history behind the art of tattooing. These shows have no idea about the rich history behind this and they also seem to have no interest in it
- They're trying to make money on something that was once the mark of sailors and criminals, but is now common and fashionable. That's often how people are identified in crimes, whether they are victim or suspect. Each tattoo is unique to that person with a personal message only that person knows
- Claim to be reality but are directed what to say
- They don't do their homework. They don't know much about the "tattoo community"
- Doesn't seem real. They seem to care more about $$$
- Artists are treated like fresh meals. They just shuffle through them like a wheel
- Artists aren't actors. Artists are the GENIUSES behind those lovely roses and crosses you see adorning people's bodies.
- Tattoo reality shows are overdone to death. There are so many tattoo shows on anymore-Miami Ink, NY Ink, Tattoo Rescue, etc.
- Unless you're getting a tattoo, watching it is boring. As a person who is now the proud owner of a tattoo, I had so much fun watching the artist do the tattoo on my arm. As soon as I can get a pic of it, I'll upload it and do a post on it. Which will probably be the next one or so. I would describe it but I don't want to ruin the surprise.

This is awesome!
Black Sabbath and Iron Maiden want the laws for online sites buying concert tickets in bulk to change. Read about it here.
Iron Maiden manager Rod Smallwood and Black Sabbath guitarist Tony Iommi are of the firm opinion that tickets for events are being abused. They are in favor of a law banning secondary ticket sales in the UK
A site called PutFansFirst.co.uk has been working with the House of Commons All Party Parliamentary Group for Ticket Abuse. These people believe that this industry needs strong support in the fight against ticket scalping. Online sites often buy tickets in bulk, leaving the fans scratching their heads as to how to buy a ticket that isn't worth more than most paychecks
Tony even offered his opinion on the matter "If you agree that fans should be able to sell tickets that they can’t use but not allow this to be exploited for commercial gain, here is the link". Iron Maiden's manager Rod Smallwood included his bit "Secondary ticketing excesses are a blight on live music events. Many major music managers, artists, agents and promoters have long been calling for government intervention and legislation. It would be easy – as some bands and organisations do – to jump on the gravy train and create large extra income streams at the expense of their fans. But they don’t. Why? Because they consider it cynical, long term counter-productive and immoral"
