The Struggles of Being a Low Maintenance Girl

Sometimes being low maintenance has its advantages

1. In your world, there exists only 3 types of hairstyles: ponytail, down or messy bun

2. Your one pair of shoes are sneakers. Because heels just need not apply. Either that or flip flops also make the cut

3. Dressing up for formal occasions or even job interviews has you frazzled. You never know where to start!!
-This is so true for me in times of job interviews!

4. Going into Sephora causes a near meltdown. You never know what to look for and act like you've never been in there before. Probably because you haven't

5. People around you confuse your low maintenance personality with laziness

6. You envy guys who can rock sneakers with suits because that is something you want, if you're a guy
7. Shopping with friends is your personal hell. They have to try on EVERTHING!

8. Outside your circle of friends, you're usually the first one ready to rock

9. When your friends are in a makeover mood, you're their guinea pig to try stuff on, whether it be makeup or hair

10. People think you're easy to please, so they don't go beyond the call of duty for you like they would for someone more higher maintenance

11. When it comes to alcohol, you'll drink anything
-For me, I'm not much of a drinker. I'll usually take a simple Jack and Coke. I'm a simple girl with simple tastes

12. When you do dress up, people treat it like it's the Second Coming of Christ

13. When people say you look amazing, you wonder if that's their way of making up for saying how not amazing you look all the other 99.99% of the time

14. People think you're dirty or don't shower because you repeat outfits

15. When you put on one sundress to look like another, no one considers it special
