Early Life
-Yuonger brother is actor Karl Yune
-Was educated at Good Council Catholic High School in Silver Spring, Maryland.
-Received an MBA degree from Wharton School of Business, University of Pennsylvania
To raise money for education, he did several jobs, including a hedge fund trader for SAC capital
-In his spare time, he decided to be a photographic model
-He studies many forms of martial arts, reaching an Olympic standard in Taekwondo.











Career
-While at the Wharton School of Business, Rick Yune worked as an intern on Wall Street trading stocks.













-He was "discovered" by a modeling agent and soon became the first American-born Asian featured in ads for Versace and Ralph Lauren's Polo
-He can also be seen in an episode of the show Alias, playing a modern day Samurai named Kazu Tamazaki who is hunted down by Jennifer Garner's character Sydney.










-His film debut was in 1999, playing Kazuo Miyamoto, a Japanese American war hero accused of killing a fisherman in the film Snow Falling on Cedars, bsaed on the novel of the same name by David Guterson















-In 2001, he played Johnny Tran, the leader of a vicius Vietnamese gang, the rival of Vin Diesel's character in Fast and the Furious. These movies introduced Japanese compact cars to the US, such as Mitsubishi, Isuzu, etc









-Next year, after being seen as the James Bond villain Zao, he was thought of as a possible James Bond.











-In 2012, he is set to star with Russell Crowe and Lucy Liu in the upcoming martial arts movie The Man with the Iron Fist
-Voted one of People Magazine's Sexiest Men Alive in 2002
