-In May 2010, Faces talked of plans to reform with Simply Red vocalist Mick Hucknall
-On Dec. 7, 2011, it was announced they were to be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame along with the Small Faces
History
-The first band among these guys was called Quiet Melon, which featured Ronnie Wood's older brother Art Wood.
-With the addition of Wood and Stewart, the band renamed themselves Faces. The "small" part was dropped because the 2 newcomers were quite tall, Ronnie Wood was 5'8'' and Rod Stewart was 5'9''.
-As Rod Stewart's solo career started off, the band felt overshadowed by this.

Post-Faces
-Wood joined The Rolling Stons as a full member after Mick Taylor up and quit
Influence on music
-Their only real rivals were that of The Who and The Rolling Stones, Faces enjoyed alot of influence on later rock music.
