Slanted Screen

Slanted Screen

-This is one of my favorite documentaries. I wish I could have remembered the name of it before.
-This is, by far in my humble opinion, one of the better documentaries. It really opens your eyes to the fact that there are very few, if any, Asian male actors in American movies, and if there are, they are put in a bad or awkward light
-2006 documentary written, produced and directed by Jeff Adachi
-It depicts the stereotypical ideas of and absence of Asian males in American movies and other forms of media from the days of silent films to present day.
-In the silent movie era, Japanese actor Sessue Hayakawa rivaled Douglas Fairbanks for talent
