-Maintaining the balance between being Peter Parker, photographer for the Daily Bugle and Spider-Man is tough. But one night, a meteor crashes and inside it is a strange, alien substance that manages to latch onto Peter Parker when he's sleeping and allows his dark side to come through, transforming him into Venom.
-He also has new enemies on the horizon. Flint Marko is the killer of Peter's Uncle Ben. He gets transformed, by accident, into the Sandman. Also to add, Harry Osbourne begins using his father's technology to transform into the Hob Goblin. But then, the black Venom substance leaves him and goes after Eddie Brock, a photographer Peter has been replaced by. This guy then becomes the new Venom

-While Topher Grace, who played Venom, was a massive fan of the comics as a kid, he dound the costume too annoying to wear. He had to wear fangs, which bruised his gums, it took an hour to put on in addition to the 4 hours of prosthetics

-Thomas Haden Church worked out for 16 months to build up his physique for the movie
-During breaks in filming, Topher Grace did not drink any water because he was unable to go to the bathroom with it on
