-The band's original name was to be Deaf Leopard, but unfortunately that would make them sound like a punk band. So he changed it around to make it Def Leppard
-Was a member of a local Sheffield band called Atomic Mass
-Has worked with many artists over the years, including Slash, Alice Cooper
