Why they ever chose to ruin it by making it in 3-D is beyond me!

Did You Know?
-When the Abominable Snowman is describing the village, "Tough kids, sissy kids, kids who lcimb on rocks" this is a line taken from an old jingle for Armour hot dogs
-The restaurant Mike and Celia go to is called Harryhausen. This is a nod to Ray Harryhausen, who was famous for his stop-motion animation movies like Jason and the Argonauts. Also, the octopus behind the bar is a reference to another of his movies, It Came From Beneath the Sea, about an octopus with 6 arms
-The Hidden City Café, which makes an appearance in here, is an actual place. It's located in San Francisco. It's a favorite with all the Pixar animators, including Pete Docter, since the early 1990s
-All of the digital displays in the movie are what is called Nixie tubes, which was very popular technology in the 1960s
-When Sulley and Mike pass Tony's Grossery, there are fruits outside, Mangle Fruit, Bilge Berries and Blood Oranges, which is an actual fruit, named for the blood red tinge to the pulp inside
I'm a girl born in the wrong decade. I belong in the 1960s or the 1970s in my opinion. I bleed tie dye, my theme music is anything 1960s rock or 1970s rock or metal. I'm a hippie through and through. But also a hippie who loves old metal music. I believe that violence never solves anything, so why resort to it to solve problems? With all the wars the world has seen, there should be a clue somewhere in there!
