My dad always said this guy was never a good actor. IDK why he would say that. He never saw any movies from this guy. I think he's pretty cool, he can kick butt and make it look good :D

-Son of Eliana and Eugene Van Varenberg, who was an accountant
-At age 10, his father enrolled him in a Shotokan karate school
-He is able to successfully perform Muy Thai, Taekwondo, Shotokan karate, kickboxing, and eventually earned a black belt in karate





Career
-The first half of his career is about kickboxing and things
-Moved to America in 1982
-His film debut came in the form of the movie Bloodsport.
-Double Impact was a sci-fi movie he starred in. He played the dual roles of Alex and Chad Wagner, who avenge the deaths of their parents.
-In 1994, he starred in Timecop. This film was about a time traveling policeman who tries to prevent the death of his wife
-In 2011, he voiced the character Master Croc in Kung Fu Panda 2

-At age 16, took up ballet for 5 years
-Had substance abuse issues in 1995. In 1996, it was rumored he spent $10,000 a week on cocaine
-In 1997, he received a clean bill of health
