Eric Carr

Eric Carr
Birth name: Paul Charles Caravello
DOB: July 12, 1950
Where: Brooklyn, New York
DOD: Nov. 24, 1991. Age: 41
Where: New York City, New York. Heart cancer

-Known as The Fox

-Was made the new drummer for Kiss after Peter Criss left
-Went to the High School of Art & Design in New York City
-Fan of The Beatles
-Got hired by Kiss when Carr sent in an audition tape of him singing the song "Shandi" with his vocals over Paul Stanley's
-Shortened his birth name to Carr

-His first album with the band was Music from "The Elder" in 1981
-His last recording was God Gave Rock N' Roll to You II
-His music inspirations were John Bonham, Keith Moon, Ringo Starr
-In 1991, he had contracted a very rare type of cancer- heart cancer. He died on the same day as Queen front man Freddie Mercury and Carr only received a small mention in any magazine, as Mercury got most of the fame. Which to any Kiss fan, it absolutely horrible that Carr only gets that little mentioning. I think that Eric Carr should have gotten a bit more respect when he died; it's absolutely ridiculous that he only got like half a page worth of respect while Mercury got it all.
